We have a great opportunity for dynamic, creative and driven Learning, Development and Service Excellence Supervisor to join our Human Resources Team.
What we are looking for?
Self-motivated, strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, and able to work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Efficient, punctual, creative, resourceful, and helpful
Ability to lead and inspire others including enjoyment to interact with colleagues and guests
Previous relevant experience in luxury hospitality / customer service / learning and development / service excellence
Partner with the colleagues and relevant committee team/s for Human Resources engagement program and activities
Ability to pick up trends and engaging in social media and technical savvy platform
Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and colleagues; lives the and breathes the Shangri-La Values
Proficient in MS Office and computer applications
What will you do?
Ability to handle full spectrum of Learning, Development and Service Excellence functions as business partner including but not limited to administration, learning needs analysis, monitoring, and reports.
Conducts on-boarding training, orientation and other training programs rolled out by Corporate
Maintains effective internal and external communication on learning needs and service excellence programmes to respective stakeholders
Support hotel audits with essential records and follow through company policy as well as local authority guideline
Ability to create a learning environment and assisting all other HR related activities and programs
Supports in driving the recognition, motivation, internship and talent development programmes
Empathetically listen to colleagues’ queries/concerns and work to find solutions.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style.
