About the job ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Designation: - Electrical Design Engineer

The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

1. Designing of Electrical service for all types of systems (Lighting, Power, earthing and lightning protection systems)
2. Designing of ELV/ low current systems (CCTV, Access control, data & telephone ..etc.)
3. Designing of fire alarm, emergency lighting and voice evacuation systems.
4. Perform electrical load calculations in compliance with DEWA regulations.
5. Perform all electrical calculations (lux calculations, Voltage drop, cable trays.etc.) equipment selection and schedules.
6. Develop the electrical design drawings in co-ordination with all other disciplines architectural, structural, ID etc.
7. Familiar with all relevant international/local Codes and Standards i.e. DEWA, SIRA, TRA, Etisalat, du, DCDetc.

Minimum Requirements

1. 5-8 years of experience on working in top engineering consulting firms in Dubai.
2. Minimum 5 years Dubai experience is a must.
3. Experience in the DIALUX lighting design software, AutoCAD, & MS Office.
4. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
