What you will be doing 

1. Organizational:

  •  Follow all relevant accounting policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.


2. Operational:

  •  Follow the day-to-day activities related to own job with minimal supervision to ensure continuity of work
  • Follow-up on escalated cases /issues/questions of junior team members to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner


3. Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and enforce them at all times
  • Monthly closing procedures are done smoothly and align with Client’s timetable.
  • Plan, manage, coordinate and implement the year end closing processing for the assigned accounting records
  • Provide technical accounting support and interpretation to the business units
  • Liaise with HR on the financial and timely payment arrangements for the monthly payroll
  • Interact with IT in the implementation of system enhancements and improvements
  • Ensure queries from Clients/Suppliers are closely attended by the in-charge
  • Support colleagues who face difficulty in fulfilling their task
  • Prepare monthly management reports and accompanying schedules
  • Provide a comprehensive accounting advice services and various reports and statements to business units’ managers
  • Prepare variety of studies, reports and related information and interpretation to the management for decision making purposes


    What you'll need to succeed 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Accounts
    • 3 - 5 years prior experience, with at least 2 years with big 4 audit firm
    • Proficiency in all aspects of accounting
    • Linguistic Skills: English - Excellent, Arabic - Preferable, French – Preferable
    • Advance excel skills

           Lead and manage the Customer Service function to ensure orders and invoices are dealt with in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, liaise with and support internal and external stakeholders, enabling the company to meet its targets on customer satisfaction, service and quality.

          JOB DESCRIPTION

          Responsibilities:

          •Lead the Customer Service department in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach and guide its members to ensure a workforce which is competent, engaged and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs
          •Manage customer service function activities to ensure high performance to reach or exceed customer expectations by setting standard procedures and professional approach of CSD members.
          •Oversee all aspects of the customer service function to troubleshoot processes and procedures and make improvements of customer service quality. Coordinate with team member to ensure the standard of order processing is maintained.
          •Set and monitor customer service targets/KPIs and monitor the performance of the team to ensure that these targets are achieved.
          •Provide training on handling of sensitive customer service issues, and resolve such issues when necessary
          •Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information and customer financial data by keeping sensitive documents private and secure and in line with local and group GDPR regulations and procedure
          •Design and continuously review the structure for customer service workload to ensure efficiency, meet changing needs and maintain a high level of performance by training, coaching and monitoring staff to ensure good customer relations, responsiveness and high levels of customer satisfaction
          •Analyse customer complaints and resolved problems to ensure that all learning points are shared with relevant stakeholders in the organisation and corrective action taken to avoid repetition in the future
          •Liaise with sales teams, supply chain and other relevant stakeholder to ensure that customer expectations are met and that any issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner through effective teamwork and good communication.

          •Active drive on e solutions, digitalization and customer relation experience on the department communication and information processes.

          Key Specific Accountabilities:

          Performance Management

          • Ensure that all cases are accurately raised in CRM for follow up and accurate data recording
          • Ensure that all customer emails and social media complaints are followed up and resolved within 24 hours of being received
          • Follow department action plans to ensure an improved customer experience and a constant approach
          • Work towards achieving first call resolution by finding and offering a solution to the customer
          • Communicate with all customers in a positive, friendly and apathetic manner to provide a consistent meeting with the customer 
          • The transport management system should be monitored, and customers contacted when delays are expected or when customers have requested a call back through

          People

          • Responsible for arranging schedules and workloads to ensure correct coverage at all times to ensure that service levels and the customer experience is improved 

          Health and Safety

          • Follow all guidelines and SOP’s set out by the health and safety department to ensure a safe working environment
          • Report any risks hazards and unusual activity to your senior or manager immediately  

          Cost Control

          • Follow department guidelines and processes to ensure that the Customer Support Centre operates at optimal efficiency

          Business Planning

          • Follow the department business plans and action plans as agreed by the department management team

          • Prepare and follow-up the purchasing orders
