About the Role

Successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating a team of room technicians in carrying out multi-discipline maintenance with an emphasis on electrical systems in guest rooms. The role requires expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC works to ensure guest rooms and related areas are maintained to the highest standards of safety, comfort, and reliability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of room technicians, assigning and monitoring daily tasks.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for guest rooms.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of:

• Electrical (Primary Focus): distribution panels, breakers, fixtures, sockets, switches, lighting, small appliances.
• Plumbing: faucets, WCs, showers, traps, drainage, minor piping works.
• Mechanical / Carpentry: doors, locks, hinges, fittings, furniture repairs.
• HVAC: FCUs, thermostats, filters, airflow balancing.

• Respond to guest complaints and service requests (Hotsos jobs) promptly.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance in all electrical works (DM/DCD standards)
• Ensure work quality, safety compliance, and timely job completion.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in multi-trade skills.
• Monitor tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring availability for room operations.
• Escalate recurring or major issues to management with recommendations.
• Provide leadership support during emergency situations affecting guest rooms.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
• Coordinate with other facility sections (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil) when needed.

Anout You

We are seeking a skilled professional with 5–7 years of experience in hotel or facility maintenance, holding a Diploma or Trade Certification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade, ideally with MEP exposure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in electrical troubleshooting, load distribution, and ensuring safety compliance. A working knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems in guest rooms is essential. This role requires strong leadership abilities, including task delegation and team supervision, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and during emergency situations is also crucial.
