Business Unit Purpose:
Linencraft was established in 2006 and has emerged as the leading industrial laundry in the region, setting trends and serving the Airline industry while expanding into the Hospitality, Healthcare and Institutional Workwear sectors. Aligned with Dubai's 2030 Vision, Linencraft is dedicated to innovation, high-quality standards, and sustainability *' continually enhancing its market presence and capabilities to support EKFC's strategic initiatives for further growth of its non-airline segment.

Job Purpose:
The Sr. Manager Business Support is responsible for establishing and leading the Business Support Division at Linencraft, providing strategic and operational leadership across logistics, transport, administration, reporting, and resource management functions. The role supports the organisation*s growth by enabling operational divisions to focus on core service delivery while ensuring that centralised support functions operate with efficiency, agility, and alignment to strategic goals. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, optimising resources, supporting expansion initiatives like the Linencraft 5 (LC5) project, and ensuring seamless coordination across business units to enhance customer satisfaction and overall performance.

Key Result Areas:
Strategic Support to Senior Management:
Provide strategic guidance and analytical insights to senior management, leveraging industry knowledge and data to influence long-term planning, operational efficiency, and customer-centric service delivery.
Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business goals, including revenue growth, cost optimisation, and productivity enhancements. Drive data-informed decisions through regular performance dashboards and variance analyses.
Oversee the preparation and management of operating budgets and capital expenditure proposals. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and investment in infrastructure, technology, and equipment that support business scalability and operational continuity.
Proactively contribute to the planning and execution of expansion projects, preparing feasibility studies, reports, and presentations for leadership review. Ensure smooth implementation of strategic initiatives across new and existing operations.
Support implementation of EKFC*s health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity and regulatory compliance.
Establish, structure, and lead the Business Support team for Linencraft, with a specific focus on key support services such as logistics, off-site operations, and laundry outlets (e.g., EK Cabin Crew, Dubai Police, etc.).
Lead and manage administrative and support teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilisation. Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across support services.
Develop and maintain systems to monitor supplier performance, enforce standards, and ensure quality, consistency, and reliability in service delivery across the supply chain.
Identify training needs and facilitate continuous learning and development for the business support team. Ensure access to mandatory and developmental training, fostering team capability and performance growth.
Define and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals. Drive efficiency and compliance across laundry logistics operations, including on-premises and external outlets serving airline, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional clients.

Linencraft is one of the region*s leading industrial laundry providers, servicing over 50 airline customers, 54 hospitality and healthcare clients, and 4 institutional workwear partners. The business also operates 24 specialised laundry outlets for Emirates Cabin Crew, Dubai Police, and several hotels' on-premises laundries. With four state-of-the-art facilities processing over 500,000 linen and garment pieces daily, Linencraft*s operations are structured across five key divisions: Airline Laundry, Hospitality Laundry, Healthcare Laundry, Logistics & Transport, and Admin & Support.

Operating in a highly competitive and quality-driven market, Linencraft*s continued success depends on a strategic blend of operational efficiency, customer responsiveness, and forward-thinking leadership. As the business scales up further with the upcoming Linencraft 5 (LC5) facility, the need for a robust and centralised Business Support Division becomes pivotal.

The Senior Manager *' Business Support is a newly created leadership role responsible for establishing and leading this division. The incumbent will be instrumental in supporting operational excellence through streamlined business support functions spanning logistics and transport management, resource planning, budgeting, data analytics, administrative oversight, and senior management reporting. By centralising these support services, the role will enable the core operations teams to focus on frontline service delivery and quality outputs.

A major area of responsibility includes overseeing the Logistics & Transport function, which currently manages over 250 daily trips across more than 90 customer locations. This includes handling dynamic requirements such as express deliveries, route changes, and urgent customer requests, all of which demand agile planning, real-time problem-solving, and lean resource utilisation in a fast-paced, traffic-sensitive environment. The ideal candidate must bring strong leadership, commercial acumen, and industry expertise to navigate operational challenges and align support services with Linencraft*s strategic objectives, ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and high customer satisfaction.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor*s Degree preferably in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.

Work Experience:

• Years of Experience: Minimum 9 years overall experience in a complex high-volume operation, business support, and customer management, preferably in the UAE laundry industry.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams within large-scale industrial laundry operations.
• Proven expertise in driving business support initiatives, leading process improvements, and advising senior management on strategic and operational matters.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management, resource planning, cost optimisation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma certification desirable).
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to collect, track, and analyse complex data sets while managing multiple priorities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of various customer segments in hospitality, healthcare, retail and workwear, including awareness of industry trends.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial laundry processes, including advanced laundry equipment, automation and hospitality logistics operations.
• Technologically adept with advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Laundry Management Systems (LMS), Fleet Management Systems, and ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
• Must have a valid UAE driving licence.
