We need a Chief Legal Specialist
Providing legal opinion and consultation to the organizational units within the Corporation during the drafting and development of legislations and laws related to the Corporation’s functions at the level of the Emirate of Dubai.
Raising awareness among the organizational units regarding new laws and legislations or amendments at the local or federal level.
Providing legal consultation to the organizational units concerning agreements, memoranda of understanding, and local and federal meetings in the legislative and legal fields.
Providing legal consultation and recommendations during the development of policies and work procedures to ensure the legal protection of the Corporation.
Providing legal advice to raise employees’ awareness of the legal concepts and aspects surrounding institutional and administrative work.
Reviewing legislations governing legal work in the Emirate and comparing them with other legislations at the federal and local levels, and assessing their impact on the legislations applied within the Corporation.
Supervising the review of documents of a legal nature and providing opinions and recommendations to the organizational units of the Corporation.
Conducting legal studies and research on issues of legal dimensions at the local and federal levels.
Analyzing the causes of violations that may be committed by the Corporation’s employees and providing recommendations to update service policies and procedures to minimize such violations or their related rates.
Providing legal advice or expertise regarding lawsuits filed by or against the Corporation.
Attending specialized committee meetings upon request, including providing legal expertise on topics or issues that have legal aspects requiring interpretation and legal classification.
Following up on all legal and legislative developments within the Emirate.
Implementing the system, policies, and programs related to information management.
Performing any other tasks related to the work of the office or as per the approved directives.
Qualifications
Master’s degree / Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent field.
Master’s degree requires 9 years of experience in the legal field or an equivalent area.Bachelor’s degree requires 11 years of experience in the legal field or an equivalent area.
