You will provide expert support in asset lifecycle economics, portfolio strategy, and capital efficiency optimization. This includes upstream project valuation from exploration through abandonment, applying deterministic and probabilistic economic methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Build integrated lifecycle economic models for oil & gas assets.

• Perform reserves classification and integrate PRMS into economic forecasts.

• Conduct development planning (well count, phasing, facility options).

• Deliver techno-economic evaluations of EOR/IOR projects.

• Execute prospect risking, volumetric modeling, and portfolio optimization.

• Analyze unconventional resources with type-curve–based economics.

• Provide cost integration, capital efficiency reviews, and post-audits.

• Support strategic portfolio balancing and capital allocation decisions.

Required Competencies

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Energy Economics, or related field.

• Advanced modeling skills (deterministic & Monte Carlo).

• Software proficiency:

  • Economics: ARIES, Quorum, PHDWin.

  • Risk analysis: @RISK, Crystal Ball, DecisionTools Suite.

  • Analytics & portfolio tools: Spotfire, Power BI, Palantir Foundry.

  • Programming/data: Excel VBA, Python, SQL.

• Strong ability to translate technical forecasts into financial insights.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
