We need a Network Engineer, L2/L3 Support,
Technology – Network Engineering, Hardware Support (HP)
Location – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Skills:
- In depth understanding of traditional circuit switched telecom networks with an emphasis on capacity, fault, and traffic management
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Hardware (HP 9000 Superdome servers) , Operating System (HP-UX 11.11) & Database (Tuxedo) issues
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Understanding of IP networking (CCNA or better preferred)
- Proven project management skills (PMP certification preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage customer relationships and projects with minimal oversight/direction
- Arabic (fluent)
- English (fluent)
- On-site Engineer at STC providing end-to-end support and assistance for the following legacy client Products:
- NFM (Fault Management solution)
- NMDRII-Titan (Traffic Management solution)
- NCE (Capacity management solution. Support is best effort w/current Saudi resource holding all knowledge)
- Staff augmentation resource responsible for addressing customer needs and issues for in scope products end-to-end
- Coverage is inclusive hardware, operating systems, and software systems
- Out of hours L2/L3 on-call support 24x7x365
- Collaborating with product teams, as needed, for L3/L4 assistance
