NDT SUPERVISOR, Bahrain

We eed a NDT SUPERVISOR, 
MAIN OBJECTIVES

As per applicable CMM/ NTM/AMM and GF NDT Manual (GEE/31) carry out NDT inspection , test on various components in NDT shop and aircraft on aircraft structures / materials and components . Where applicable certify components as per the GF authorisation

MAIN DUTIES

1. Processes parts & perform equipment standardization In accordance with written instructions (NTM / SB) or IT's approved by the GF NDT level III.

2. Carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection in accordance with written instructions.

3. Follow written instructions in techniques / methods for which the inspector/Technician is certified.

4. Select the appropriate technique for each test in which he is certified.

5. Understand NDT standards and specifications and adapt them practically to the actual working conditions to carry out a successful test in the method he is certified.

6. Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.

7. Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes or specifications in which he holds the certification and authorisation or under the supervision of appropriately authorised NDT level II.

8. Prepare written test instructions (or modify existing instructions as required for specific application) where instructions from OEM does not exist for the method in which he is authorised and send it for approval to GF NDT Level III.

9. Organise and report the results of Non Destructive tests in the method he is approved.

10. Identify, analyze and report opportunities for improvement and contribute to solutions.

11. Strictly follow the GF NDT CODE OF ETHICS.

EDUCATION

Aeronautical Engineering , Aerospace Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering , Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering , Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry OR EASAICAO Type 2 approved course

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years of experience with OR equivalent NDT Level two certification in at least two of the following methods:

1- Eddy current

2- Penetrant

3- Magnetic

4- Ultrasonic
