    The Opportunity:

    Materials Engineer (for Supervision of Dam Projects)

    In order to provide a quality and satisfactory service to our clients, we are looking for experts that apart from having excellent knowledge and experience in their field, also possess personal traits such as flexibility in their work environment, team work attribute as well as leadership spirit.

• • REQUIRED SKILLS

    Job Description:

    • Conduct, supervise, and analyze tests on construction materials like concrete, aggregates, cement, steel, and grouts. This includes on-site and off-site testing to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.
    • Implement and oversee the quality control plan for all materials used on-site. This involves checking that delivered materials comply with approved submittals and specifications.
    • Review and approve all material submittals from contractors, ensuring they meet the required technical standards before they are used in construction.
    • Investigate and diagnose material-related failures and defects. Develop and implement corrective actions to ensure the project stays on track without compromising quality or safety.
    • Maintain detailed records of all material tests, inspection results, and quality control procedures. Prepare reports for senior engineers and project managers.
    • Monitor the stock and usage of construction materials to ensure timely delivery and availability for site activities.

    
    

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Material Science / Civil Engineering;
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Hydro/Dam Projects.
    • Must have extensive experience in the supervision of dam construction, with specific requirements varying by the project.
    • Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
