We need a Junior Legal Advisor
GRADE Refrigeration is an Industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The Junior Legal advisor will dedicate himself/herself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The Junior Legal advisor will be reporting technically to the Finance Manager and administratively to the Country General Manager.
Job Description
Your tasks
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on a variety of commercial contracts.
- Supporting Finance Manager in legal matters.
- Providing advice on disputes, litigation and compliance.
- Promoting awareness of legal risks within the business territory through internal training and counselling.
- Creating and maintaining an annual schedule for legal and regulatory compliance reporting for individual business units in KSA.
- Carrying out Legal and factual research including the review and monitoring of new and updated laws and regulations and preparing memorandums of advice for departments as instructed / required.
- Representing the company on legal proceedings in the court of law.
- Reviewing vendor contracts, company policies, and advising changes suitable to all.
- Monitoring compliance and other legal issues and ensuring no escalation to claims and disputes occur.
- Resolving employer-employee dispute through arbitration and mutual consent.
- Drafting forms for contracts, employment, and other policies with legal significance.
- Arrange and File all documentation related to contracts.
- Handle basic contract negotiation.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Minimum 2 years of strong experience in a corporate environment as a legal advisor.
- Robust understanding of Labor Laws in KSA.
- Impeccable grasp over English written and verbal language.
- Excellent research, investigation, and analytical skills.
- Skilled in presenting complex subject in easy and understandable format.
- Excellent proactive approach with problem-solving skills .
- Ability to find the main reason of problems and advice appropriately.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
