CONTROLLER - CONTRACTS, Bahrain

We need a CONTROLLER - CONTRACTS
MAIN OBJECTIVE

• 
  Controller - contracts main objective to ensure that contracts entered into by their organization are fair, legally sound, and meet the needs and objectives of the company. This typically involves negotiating contract terms, reviewing agreements for compliance with laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating risks, and facilitating communication between parties involved in the contract process. Ultimately, the goal is to protect the interests of the organization while fostering positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

MAIN DUTIES

• 
  Assist in the development of commercial offerings and maintain the integrity of contractual relationships.

• Participate in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with deals, contracts, and negotiations.

• Support negotiation efforts for external and internal procurement contracts.

• Assist in negotiating commercial terms with customers, partners, and suppliers.

• Liaise with Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and other departments to ensure alignment and compliance.

• Seek guidance from senior team members on legal clauses and obtain necessary approvals.

• Implement procedures for contract compliance and assist in their execution.

• Maintain accurate contractual records and documentation.

• Support monitoring of contract milestones and assist in planning contingencies.

• Contribute to driving continuous improvement in contract agreements.

• Assist in coordinating contract communication and visibility across relevant parties.

• Support the functioning of database systems for contract management.

• Assist in establishing policies and criteria for new agreements.

• Support adherence to broader financial goals and objectives.

• Provide support and mentorship to junior team members.

• Assist in monitoring subordinates' performance and contribute to performance management processes.

• Perform relevant additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Education

• 
  A bachelor's degree or diploma in management agreements/contracts.

Experience

• 
  A minimum of 2 years of experience in contract negotiation.
