In this role, you will:
- Ensure day-to-day operations/ process runs smoothly and operational procedures are in place.
- Provide the highest standard of service to SSV clients.
- Make decisions and resolve issues from daily Operations using both tactical and strategic solutions
- Drive Operational Excellence: Ability to carry out Service Delivery through Operational excellence tools
- Maintain awareness of Group Compliance Policy and Operational risks
- Comply with Group Audit and Internal Control standard
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong experience in banking / financial services. Custody business knowledge is preferred, spanning Global Custody or Direct Custody and Clearing, alternatively other securities post-trade experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, operations as a function, asset classes such as equities, fixed income, managed funds & unlisted securities, products and industry standard systems & processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in English & Arabic (preferred) to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and with internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to learn quickly, transfers knowledge, understand and interpret numeric data to make Operational decisions and drive business strategy.
- Masters degree or equivalent is preferred
- Certificate of completion of securities courses would also be an advantage
