Job Purpose:
The Finance Analyst will support the DSD Finance Department by executing a variety of finance-related operational activities. This role is responsible for organizing and managing financial data and documentation to support accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders, including senior leadership. The analyst will also contribute to compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial policies across the department.
Main Responsibilities:
Operations Support
- Supports management and various stakeholders by providing quality data reports as may be requested.
- Manage internal documents and data to provide insightful information to key stakeholders
- Support the implementation of operational efficiencies through Lean Projects.
Financing Solutions
Support the Enterprise Strategy on creating and managing financing programs:
- Implement monthly drawdown requirements of existing Financing Programs.
- Support the governance of the existing Programs.
Others
The incumbent will be called upon from time to time to support various projects within the organization.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or accounting college degree.
- Minimum two (2) years practical experience
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills, mainly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Data Analytical skills
SKILL DESCRIPTORS
- Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
- Attention to details and understands the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding.
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
- Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customers, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce within the company and dealer management.
