The role is responsible for advising the CEO on all Legal Affairs activities by providing timely legal services and advice by applicable laws and regulations. This role provides strategic legal counsel while focusing on mitigating risk and ensuring legal interests are protected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal counsel to the CEO, encompassing business cases, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Meticulously review all legal documentation submitted to the CEO, including formal agreements, to guarantee its accuracy and safeguard interests while ensuring due diligence and verifying the legal validity of all documents.
- Expertly analyze legal documents submitted to the CEO from outsourced partners, identifying any legal gaps and providing strategic recommendations to the CEO.
- Anticipate and analyze high-risk legal issues arising from existing and potential contracts and agreements, developing and implementing timely mitigation strategies to protect.
- Analyze emerging legal trends and their potential impact on strategic objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Law.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a law function, preferably with a local/Gulf bank or law firm.
- Arabic and English speakers
