To manage and coordinate the day-to-day development, maintenance, and execution of the HSSE compliance programs at the EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi facility. To facilitate implementation within the Middle East region of new HSSE programs, report on compliance with existing programs. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the HSSE Management processes, complying with all applicable requirements. To provide the leadership related to Service Excellence for the Middle East Operations. To ensure the company is able to deliver consistent and profitable growth through the application and continuous improvement. Provide professional QA support to the operational business unit ensuring the maintenance of a Quality Management System and application of the organizational Quality Policy.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and continually improve the HSSE Program and Management System.
Drive compliance with internal policies, procedures, and plans as well as applicable external HSSE regulatory programs.
Support development and rollout of HSSE strategic plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with the EthosEnergy HSSE Standards and annual improvement plans.
Support BU leaders/facility managers/project managers to establish annual site performance goals and objectives.
Support HSSE execution in the Middle East Region and ensure project specific mobilization plans are in place and in compliance with the EthosEnergy HSSE standards, applicable customer requirements, and local, state, country, HSSE regulations.
Manage the health and safety training programme, identifying and developing applicable training curriculums.
Ensure compliance with EE Security Risk Management procedure within the Middle East Region
The Management Representative for driving Service Excellence principles and Quality Management
System for Middle East operations and ensure the processes needed for Quality Management are established, implemented and maintained.
Facilitate and lead the Management Team in implementation of data driven process improvements focused on improving customer loyalty yielding business growth.
Serve as the Service Excellence subject matter expert for the business unit training and mentoring management, all employees, the process owners and improvement teams.
Facilitate and lead mapping of critical business processes transferring ownership to the process owner for sustained continual improvement.
Implement the EthosEnergy Service Excellence strategy within the business unit.
Report to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement
Ensure initiation of action(s) to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities
Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Assist / advise on a preparation of Quality Plan / Inspection of test plan.
Controls and updates the QA documents and records, prepare monthly QMS reports
Conduct Periodic Quality system audits for the business units across the region.
Assist in supplier evaluation of re-evaluation processes
API project lead for new Monogram application includes Product and process review, design pack.
To support maintaining the API standards/specifications pertaining to product quality.
Required Skills / Knowledge
Expert;
Hands on experience in managing Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 14001:2004 ISO 45001 standards.
Hands on experience in driving process improvements
Experience in leading an audit team for Internal and External audits Knowledge in Operational
Hazards and controls.
Ability to carry out risk assessments and provide improvement recommendations.
Product and process knowledge.
Ability to execute and implement procedures.
Review and update / update HSSE procedures.
Effectively deliver HSSEQ & SE training.
Carry our effective internal HSSEQ & SE audits Proficient;
Strong indirect management and leadership skills
Understanding and acting on need to elevate HSSEQ & SE issues and concerns to management.
Sound Knowledge of Operational hazards and controls.
Sound Knowledge International HSSEQ standards.
Ability to train the people on HSSEQ & SE aspects.
Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Customer focused
Strong written and verbal communication at all levels
Capable of delivering results in a diverse, ever changing environment
Strong facilitation and listening skills
Accepts accountability and program ownership
Ability to influence Senior Management, Managers, supervisors and employees, to drive promote and ensure the highest standard to HSSEQ& SE performance and results.
Experience
Prior Business Management Leadership Experience
B.S engineering with 3-5 years’ experience as a process engineer. Prefer industrial experience in heavy industry versus traditional process industries.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principle and intent of ISO 9001 and ISO 9004 business management models.
Prior experience with successful Change Management tools used to impact the culture of the Organization
Working knowledge of root cause analysis and the associated tools
Education Requirements
Lead auditor ISO14001 and 45001.
Bachelor’s Degree holder.
NEBOSH General Certificate holder.
Qualified Internal Auditor for HSSEQ standards.
Diploma in OH&S preferred.
Candidate must hold, or be able to obtain, a valid passport and work visas as required in the
