Role Purpose:
The Risk and Data Governance – Associate Manager is responsible for controlling and monitoring the quality of data MAF Lifestyle gathers from different sources, ensuring the information is as per data compliance. Also, the role will oversee the management of Data corruption and mapping into different programs.
The role is also responsible for digital compliance in reviewing the online purchases and running the loss prevention of MAFL websites and digital assets.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Extract data using analytical tools, data platforms, and internal databases
Conduct quality control, checking with relevant data owners, and cross-referencing findings against secondary sources
Review and track data lineage ensuring accurate departmental traceability
Responsible for the data management within MAF Lifestyle ensuring all data collected from different touch pints are well maintained and updated
Support the development of data dictionaries as main framework for building one source of truth.
Support the definition of company-wide metrics and relevant data sources.
Be the point of contact for supervisory authorities related to Xsight data processing activities and data subject across all our operating markets.
Monitor and review the omnichannel sales transactions to ensure MAFL policies and procedures are followed in terms of discounts, offers and refunds
Continuously monitor and assess data, ensuring compliance with all applicable data protection laws & regulations, and internal policies and procedures e.g. data governance and privacy policies, IT security policies, data protection standard etc.
Ensure MAFL sites are running as per the standards with no errors.
Respect the data privacy by design principles by ensuring adoption of the group data protection standard and perform privacy impact assessments (‘PIA’s) data protection impact assessments (‘DPIA’) when personal data is involved.
Partner with all key functions within the company and business, IT Security, IT team, Human Capital, Compliance, Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure identified risks are mitigated by considering the nature, scope, context, and purpose of the intended data solutions.
Develop, submit, and maintain the record of processing activities (‘RoPA’) as per regulatory requirements and ensure activities and data usages are mapped to Xsight data needs and producing/consuming systems.
Partner with legal and handle complex negotiations of contracts with third parties, providers, suppliers, customers on data privacy.
Develop awareness and culture of Privacy across Xsight and stay at the forefront of the privacy regulatory landscape across MAF’s operating markets.
Adopt and leverage the group data governance and privacy capabilities to ensure Xsight’s data needs are identified, documented, discovered, and fit for purpose, to high quality. Ensure data issues are fixed at source.
Protect customers data and make sure no misuse intentionally or unintentionally
Work with cross-functional teams to create and maintain a prioritized backlog
