Kuehne + Nagel U.A.E. is looking for a Expo & Events Logistics Coordinator with customer focused, pro-active, ability to function independently to help and contribute to the Fairs and Events strategy in line with the national / regional / corporate direction.
Your Role
Expo & Events Logistics Coordinator is responsible to ensure best in class operations and customer service towards every shipment to be handled by KN UAE Expo & Events team. Support the country and regional Expo & Events team providing them with suppliers and costs information.Control and supervise internal and external subcontractors in order to optimize the costs and ensure the full scope of required services is provided,
Your Responsibilities
Prepare quotations for customers as well as for other Kuehne+Nagel offices on the base of subcontractor’s charges.
Communicate with customers providing them with possible solutions for handling their F&E shipments as well as providing them with actual status of the shipments being handled by Kuehne+Nagel.
Communicate with Kuehne+Nagel stations providing them with possible expo & events solutions.
Booking shipments with internal and external subcontractors.
Check and confirm transport and customs documentation to external and internal customers.
Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments destined to the exhibitions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in order to ensure customs documents are checked and confirmed, shipments are released by customs and delivered to the booths.
Invoice the provided services to customers via FairLOG.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in related fields.
2 years of experience in fairs and event logistics sector is a must.
Proficient in MS Office Applications and PC Skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills with great time management.
Commercial minded and customer oriented.
Very good spoken and written English
