You’ll be working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving and high growth environment with the following responsibilities:
Support the company's rapid growth and advise our teams strategically and on any regulatory and contractual issues
Develop intelligent solutions for complex legal issues and projects
Manage communication with regulators as well as lobby initiatives and opinionsCommunicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors.
Designing and delivering legal training to the business.
Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents)
Develop company policy and position on legal issues
Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks
Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents
Represent the company in legal proceedings.
Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.)
Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
You should apply if you have:
Fluent in both spoken and written English and preferably Arabic
A minimum of 5 years experience as a corporate lawyer
You’re an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with people across the business
Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
Significant experience providing product legal advice for payments systems, alternative payments, digital services and platforms, and other related services
Deep knowledge of and familiarity with UAE / Saudi directives, laws, and regulations impacting payments and financial services
Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, with technology transactions background preferred
Experience advising on laws and regulations applicable to collecting, storing, and using personal financial information preferred
Experience with debt financing transactions including structured finance, syndication and secruritization, a plus
Current license to practice law
BS degree in Law
