WSP is looking for a Senior Manager/Associate Director – Data Management, As part of the Digital advisory team, lead the data and analytics practice, you will be responsible for the growth of the practice working with clients to develop data strategies and roadmap, advise on data architecture and technologies.
Your new role, what's involved?
A seller-doer role within the digital advisory team. As a senior and experienced member of the team, contribute to defining the services offering, go-to-market strategy, and to communication strategy
Grow the awareness of the data capabilities among clients and internally within WSP services lines and conduct business development activities in WSP ME markets of focus
Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within existing and prospective WSP Client's portfolio
Identify opportunities, generate and convert leads and actively contribute to digital advisory sales targets
Actively lead bidding on tenders and RFP, proposal preparation, pitching, and negotiations
Lead the delivery of clients engagements, manage delivery and teams, oversee all projects aspects (Technical, commercial and contractual) and act as the senior contact point with the client
Work closely with WSP's other services lines (sustainability, Strategic planning, Master Planning, Healthcare, PPP) and engineering Services (Property & Buildings, PMC, Transport, and Infrastructure) to develop joint data-based value propositions
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience with setting data management strategies including data maturity assessment, data Models, data catalogs, data governance strategies models and policies, data architecture design and implementation
Strong understanding of the data & Analytics technology landscape (data platforms, AI, and machine learning for data, data processing, and visualization...) and data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark..). Project delivery of ETL-Data lakes and Data Warehouse
A strong understanding of the technology regulatory landscape (data privacy, cloud, cybersecurity.) in the ME mainly (KSA, UAE, Qatar)
Multi-industry / able to talk to CEO and to engineers to translate data requirements
DAMA certification is a plus
Experience with consulting and familiarity with the concepts of Digital Transformation, Digital Twin, Smart Cities, other technologies such as (IOT, cloud, Blockchain, and AI) and awareness of the GCC digital ecosystem
Proven history of shaping data & analytics consulting opportunities and of delivering projects
Experience in business development and consulting sales in complex client environments (Understanding the client's challenges, shaping value propositions, and responding to RFPs).
Effective interpersonal and relationship capabilities and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
A team player with strong leadership skills to manage reports and project teams and manage senior-level relationships with clients' organizations
+ 14 experience in a consulting firm or in a digital transformation/innovation role for an industrial enterprise/ start-up
Business degree or electrical engineering degree (BSc, MSc)
Familiarity with BIM and GIS is a plus
MBA would be a plus
Arabic speakers would be an advantage.
