Summary:

 

The Business Development Manager has an overall responsibility to maintain Nextcare’s current business and pursue new and existing business opportunities.  The position acts as important link between Nextcare and its clients which include self-funded schemes, insurance companies, mutual funds and employer groups.  He/she should maintain focus on the company’s goals and objectives and is in charge of exploring and setting new business potential in direct collaboration with the Management

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

 

Maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments on all products, pricing strategies, service offerings.
Represents the organization in formal meetings with outside organization on insurance matters.
Provides clients with guidance and advice on developing, implementing and revising insurance programs and policies.
Generates ideas and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective partner strengths to drive additional benefit to Nextcare portfolio.
Develops new sources of revenues from new and existing businesses in collaboration with the management.
Examines competitors closely in terms of their procedures, relations to align business development strategy regarding market changes, demands and needs.
Ensures coordination between Nextcare and the Insurance Companies to ensure gathering competitive information and effective deals
Plans and organize special seminars and provide training for Clients and Internal Employees to develop their understanding of insurance management.
Liaises with the regional marketing team to design promotional and marketing materials for Nextcare Providers.
Generates reports on performance and attend Management Committee Meetings.

Prepares departmental procedure manual, annual budget and recruitment plans.

Applies and respects Nextcare leadership principles and create an environment of open communication and continuous improvement.

Provides professional leadership and direction to the functions within the Business Development and Client Relations department.

Delegates responsibilities in order to accomplish tasks on time.

As required recruit, train and supervise staff.

Other projects as may be assigned by Management

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree.
5+ years relevant experience in a similar role (TPAs, Insurance companies, Hospitals, Medical Centers).
Physically fit to carry out duties.
Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills
