rime responsibilities and duties :

• Check or approve the main deliverables relevant to HVAC and issued by mechanical discipline: calculation reports, design criteria, technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions and technical bid evaluations
• Support the Mechanical Engineers of the various project in reviewing Vendor documentation relevant to HVAC
• Perform design calculations of HVAC according to applicable codes in order to define main equipment sizing
• Define technical solutions for complex problems.
• Propose optimization/changes in order to minimize quantity/costs or optimize project schedule.
• Support Chief Engineers in reviewing Tender documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase.
• Maintain and develop the specific know-how pertaining to HVAC
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced colleagues
• Promote transfer of knowledge through mentoring and training

Skills and Qualifications :

• Mechanical Engineering background
• Deep Knowledge of international codes, standards and best engineering practices for HVAC
• Deep knowledge of HVAC calculation software
• Long-standing experience in HVAC Engineering in large EPC Oil&Gas;/Petrochemical/Energy projects (minimum 10 years)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
