What you will do

The Lead Field Service Engineer will be reporting directly to the Branch Manager, Marine, and Offshore & Navy Middle East and will be based in Dubai. As part of the Marine, Offshore & Navy team you will install, service, repair and carry out preventative maintenance on the HVAC and Refrigeration systems of various Jonson Controls brands and equipment’s onboard ships, offshore platforms and Navy vessels.

How you will do it

As a Service Engineer you will use your strong HVAC and Refrigeration technical knowledge to execute site surveys and recommend system improvements, upgrades and replacements as vital; perform reciprocating, screw and centrifugal compressors overhauls; HVAC and Refrigeration system commissioning, repairs and maintenance. As an experience Service Engineer you will understand the customer requirements and concerns by meeting them on regular basis and provide them required technical services and repair for HVAC systems.

You’re driven and consistent in your approach to work, prioritizing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, and time leadership skills.

What we look for

Required

• Diploma / Bachelor degree in engineering (mechanical / electrical / marine) 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in servicing, maintenance, fixing electrical/ mechanical parts of HVAC and Refrigeration systems in Marine / Offshore sector
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working in HVAC/R segment mostly on industrial centralized systems, including Brazing, Vacuuming, Pressure Testing, Commissioning, Overhauls etc
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawing and trouble shoot on HVAC and Refrigeration Systems, VFD starters and other starters
• Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way.
• Proficient language skills in English
• Valid Driving License
• Knowledge of Fire Detection / Suppression systems is an advantage
