Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to develop and manage strategic partners, with a focus on the EMEA region, especially in the Middle East and markets such as Turkey and Eastern | South Europe. This role will collaborate closely with the Market Researcher and Presales Consultant to drive business growth and expand market presence.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage strategic partnerships, focusing on technology partners (but not limited to)

Establish strong relationships with these partners and sales multipliers to leverage their networks to develop a qualified pipeline that results in closed deals

Manage partnership agreements and develop comprehensive business plans, including product co-creation initiatives

Manage and nurture partnerships to drive mutual growth and achieve business objectives

Align with the business development efforts across YNV Tech Talent companies and regions, including the US, Latam, Africa, and the Middle East

Utilize your strong technology, industry knowledge and pre-sales approach to visualize innovative solutions and partnership activities that address customer challenges

Collaborate with the solutions design team to customize and tailor product offerings to meet customer requirements

Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies, share market insights, and drive revenue growth

Work closely with the Presales Consultant to ensure seamless coordination between sales, partnerships, and pre-sales activities

Provide input and insights to product development teams based on partner feedback and market demands

Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging, promotional activities, and lead-generation campaigns

Collaborate with the Market Researcher to gather market intelligence, identify emerging trends, and assess market opportunities

Utilize market research findings to shape partnership strategies, product co-creation initiatives, and sales approaches

Stay updated with the latest product features, enhancements, and industry trends

Conduct internal training sessions to educate the sales team on product updates, competitive differentiators, and effective selling strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business

Proven experience in a presales or solution consulting role within the technology industry

Proven experience in partnership development, preferably in the technology industry

Experience in technology education is a plus

Strong understanding of emerging markets, especially in the Middle East and markets like Turkey or Eastern | South Europe business landscape

Strong business acumen and understanding of the competitive landscape within the technology industry

Familiarity with sales processes, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and deal closure, including marketing coordination processes

Clearly articulate the value proposition of our solutions and the positive impact they can have on the customer's business and digital transformation journey

Communicate the ROI and business outcomes that can be achieved through the adoption of our solutions and services

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Ability to strategize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships

Analytical and data-driven approach with proficiency in market research

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong customer-centric mindset and the ability to understand customer requirements and align them with appropriate solutions

Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites and industry events

As the Service Delivery Manager (Remotes), you will ensure that Baker Hughes maximizes its short and long term revenue and profit opportunities. You will ensure flawless execution, on-time delivery and contract adherence. You will manage projects to ensure execution in line with customer expectations and contract terms and conditions.

As a Service Delivery Manager (Remotes) – Wireline Services, you will be responsible for:

Managing and monitoring global projects in remote locations for our business, to ensure successful completion

Leading and motivating a team to formulate and successfully execute strategies to create winning solutions for customers

Collaborating cross functionally and with customers to understand the volume and complexity of the activity forecast

Ensuring prompt escalation of issues that can impact service delivery to ensure delivery of clients’ objectives

Ensuring assigned contracts and quotes are fully understood and invoices are correctly issued to prevent revenue leakage

Managing the project budget for assigned area, customer change requests, and overall profitability for the business

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelors degree or higher in an science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field

Have previous experience as a Field Engineer General or higher within Baker Hughes Wireline Services

Have 2+ years of experience in a Service Delivery Coordination, Field Service Coordination, or Operations Management role

Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead teams

Have the ability to lead projects directly and indirectly

JOB PURPOSE:

 

The Sr Sourcing Specialist is responsible for facilitating an efficient sourcing process by building relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost and developing agreements for the Goods and Services required at multiple locations within the Geozone and/or the Region, this involve using established sourcing methodology, electronic platforms and tools. The role will report to the Global Sourcing Manager, liaise with the network Category Managers to develop sourcing strategies.

QUALITY

Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System

Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement

 

OPERATIONS

Ensures to develop and implement the sourcing plan, working closely with Operations and Category Management to refine the sourcing strategy and plans for the Geozone and/or Region for the upcoming year

Assesses sourcing and category opportunities, analysing spend data from multiple sources, structured analysis of supplier/category industry to identify trends, purchasing patterns,competitive position, market conditions and expiring contracts to indicate ways to improve the pricing, quality, service and technology

Ensures to execute sourcing events (RFX’s), negotiates hard savings and/or benefits to lower the overall cost to the organization

Ensures accurate and up to date contracts and supplier records are maintained

Ensures to award contract and agreements to suppliers that comply with company requirements

Tracks performance aspects of contracts and supplier development that includes contract inventory, segmentation, risk assessments, contingency planning and validation of right pricing

Ensures safe and efficient utilization of company systems, tools and spreadsheets/reports

Creates strategic alliances with suppliers to develop and maintain long-term supply partnerships

Works with all relevant parties in the consolidation and rationalization of Supplier base

 

COMMUNICATION

Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external

Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports

Maintains effective level of communication with a broad range of stakeholders in order to plan and prioritize sourcing initiatives to support business requirements

Communicate timely, clear and concise the impact of sourcing decisions to stakeholders, leading meetings with suppliers for the resolution or mitigation of key/critical issues to ensure alignment with project expectations

Maintain contact and network with supplier community

 

FINANCIAL

All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses

Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure

 

PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience

Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential

Supervisors are expected to actively engage their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities

Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce

 

VISION & LEADERSHIP

Demonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times

Identify process problems and concerns and make recommendations for innovative solutions and corrective actions to achieve desirable results, help the company better manage cost on supplies and supplier services.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of higher degree and related experience  

Legally authorized to work

Minimum 3-7+ years related experience with demonstrated competencies in a sourcing and procurement position

Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub

Intermediate Excel user and proficient in MS Office suite

       PREFERRED

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Sourcing Certificate

5+ years of experience in a sourcing and procurement, supply chain position

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

REQUIRED

Familiarity with Procurement and Sourcing principles and techniques: Procure-to-Pay full cycle, e-catalogs, e-ordering and e-invoicing            Strategic Sourcing methodology and tools                                              Analysing data regarding the cost and availability of materials and services that are needed to complete projects

Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of commodity industry

Strong analytical and negotiation skills, including cost models

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities

Comprehend the industry and the marketplace

Solid understanding of fundamental contracting and agreements principles with the ability to create contracts using Company templates

Display impeccable time-management, detail oriented and a high level of accuracy

Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task with proven record of meeting deadlines

Must be flexible with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment and quickly adapt to operational requirements

Excellent Customer Service

Strong teamwork

Ability to operate across teams, cultural and organizational boundaries

Supply Market expertise in the Oil and Gas Industry

Advanced excel user

Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle platforms and services

Project management skills

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
