Our client is an international multi-disciplinary who are expanding their urban design team and are now looking for 3 x Senior Masterplanners/Urban Planners to be based in their Dubai office.
You should have a strong background in masterplanning and urban planning and be able to demonstrate your experience throughout your portfolio of work.
These roles are a vital part of the strategy, planning and urban development division so you must have experience in the following:
- Urban planning from pre-concept stage through to concept and detailed masterplans.
- Site analysis, developing, testing and selecting design options.
- Recent experience with land use and development regulations at a district level, ideally in the Middle East region. Applicants outside the region should have worked on very large projects.
- Must be able to liaise with various technical professions to effectively articulate your vision for the developments.
- You should have experience with the best practices within urban design and masterplanning to ensure cohesive designs.
- Preferred applicants with exhibit confidence in their design abilities and should be comfortable presenting their masterplans to internal teams as well as outside consultants, clients and client representatives..
- You should be computer literate in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD and MS Office.
Requirements
Bachelors in Masterplanning or Urban Planning
Minimum 10 years experience
You should have experience working for companies such as Gensler, Atkins, Aecom, Woods Bagot, WSP, Jacobs.
