About the role
Are you a tech-savvy, analytical professional, eager to deliver quality business results? Do you enjoy being a problem solver and solutions engineer? The Manager, Networking & Telecommunications is responsible for ensuring the IT Infrastructure services are delivered effectively to all departments of the resort and external clients. This will involve providing direct support to the IT Director in the administration of IT Infrastructure assets, coordinating internal and inter-departmental assistance to enable the IT Networks team to support hotel business operations & activities requiring the deployment of IT services to guarantee results delivery as per business expectations.
Another key aspect of this role will be to coach, mentor, motivate and supervise IT team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
About you
The ideal candidate must have previous experience working at Manager level withing infrastructure/networks & telecommunications within a 5* hotel/resort, and ideally a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience managing a team of 4 people or more, supporting large converged networks and IT services.
You will have experience of large-scale enterprise campus LAN deployments and be experience with palo alto and check point firewalls administration. You will have strong EQ as we are looking to for a network expert who can support operations day to day.
Technical Qualifications
1. Cisco Certified CCNP
2. Avaya Call Manager and Contact Centre Certified (A must for AM position).
3. Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewalls Certified
4. AWS, CISSP and related certifications are a plus.
