The purpose of the role is to proactively manage the sales performance of the team in order to achieve and report on the activity and sales. Responsibility for maximizing sales of Canon B2C range of products.

Motivate and provide leadership to the team to ensure all sales targets are met and that Strategic Account Management principles are applied

Owning the Partner/ Area budgeting process with support of the country managers

Pricing analysis and discussion with product managers

Devise and implement area marketing strategy

What we ask

Interpersonal Requirements

Strong B2C sales experience with proven track record and success

Minimum 10 years of experience in the Africa Territory. Experience handling West & Central Africa is essential.

Excellent communicator and public speaker

Previous Experience/ Education

Several years of experience in a similar international or regional sales or marketing experience (with an international company, national distributor or trading company) – very desirable

B2C experience – essential

Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English and French - essential.

Description

 

- At least 2-3 years of core sales experience in Personal Finance sales product in a bank in UAE.

-Should be currently selling personal finance sales as their core product in a UAE bank.

-Candidates should be targeting good salary segments to sell their products to.

-Eligible candidate should be preferably working on Fresh buy out loans. Candidates working on PDC financing, their targets should be at least 1 mn above per month.

-Increase market share of products and acquire more customers and function in line with the Group's overall business strategy.

-Provide excellent customer service.

-Bring new companies to the bank's approved list of employers and capitalize on relationships to increase overall penetration of retail banking products.

-Good knowledge of the UAE market, existing policies and existing customers based on quality service.

-Build and leverage key business relationships to maximize market share and achieve sales through the Personal Finance product as well as cross selling of other Emirates Islamic products during customer interactions.

-Explore New markets and customers within the assigned territory to enhance sales volumes.

-Create and build customer awareness on new products through mailers, personal visits to prospect business.

-Achieve cross selling targets of non assigned products and services to contribute to revenues and market presence.

 

Qualifications

 

-University graduate with 2-3 years of direct sales/service experience in UAE Banks.

-Excellent communication skills, result oriented, good public relations and analytical thinking.

-Outstanding customer service skills, goal oriented, results driven and bilingual with English is a must.

-Selling and marketing skills.

-Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments.

-Hard working and focused.

Talent Acquisition Lead, Farah Experiences LLC, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description

In this position you are responsible for leading teams within the Talent Acquisition department overseeing resourcing, interviewing and pre-boarding of candidates for vacant positions in the company and its managed properties with a key focus on cost savings and hiring time efficiencies.

JOB SCOPE:

Vacancy assessment

Conduct independent intake meetings with hiring managers for the purpose of understanding requirements of new vacancies.

Review the information provided by hiring managers to ensure that the department has covered everything on the new vacancy including budget, start dates, etc.

Liaise with HR Business Partners where needed to ensure the hiring process moves smoothly and escalate concerns if necessary.

Oversee hiring plans developed by the team to ensure timelines are reasonable for submissions, interviews, calibration and updates.

Sourcing

Oversee publishing of vacancies on the external career section, job boards and agency portals (as needed).

Ensure job boards are utilized efficiently and measure ROI.

Source for candidates in the ATS and job boards.

Approach passive candidates for niche and difficult to source roles.

Maintain a network of industry contacts to identify potential candidates for pipelines.

Screening

Screen applicant CVs received through different channels to shortlist for tele-screening.

Tele-screen, external candidates to determine interest in company openings, qualifications (skill set and cultural fit), availability, etc.

Update candidate status on ATS and send relevant correspondence.

Submit screened shortlisted candidates to the hiring manager for review.

Interviews / Assessments

Interview candidates for assigned roles to assess functional and culture fit.

Plan and lead assessment centers for various roles.

Share feedback on interviews and assessments with hiring managers.

Conduct calibration meetings with hiring managers to close out the interviewing process and move to a final candidate for their vacancy.

Update hiring managers on status of their open vacancies through reports and meetings

Pre-boarding 

Make pre-offer calls to selected external candidates and educate them on requirements. 

Create employment contract, relevant offer letters and raise workflows in HRMS for both internal and external candidates. 

Update all necessary information into ATS for all external and internal hires. 

Monitor on-boarding timelines for efficiency and flags areas of risks or concerns. 

Campaigns 

Plan and lead recruitment trips overseas and /or local open days in different locations as assigned. 

Prepare presentations on the company and job overview for recruitment trips and local open days. 

Work with different agencies on sourcing campaigns. * Get involved in other projects and initiatives as maybe assigned from time to time. 

Agency Management 

Review progress on sourcing of niche roles to decide on outsourcing to agents. 

Monitor the performance of agents and record placements, quality of submissions, feedback and comments on admin support 

 

Team Management 

Review the team’s performance and meet for weekly updates on progress of vacancies, internal transfers and onboarding of external hires. 

Educate the team on company-wide updates and encourage participation in team activities. 

Prepare quarterly performance reports and ad-hoc reports as required.

 

What you will need to bring

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent customer service skills to manage our candidates and our hiring managers

A lot of patience

Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done

Working knowledge of any applicant tracking system 

Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Teams

5 years' or more work experience in recruitment either in agency or in-house

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business or Human Resources​

CIPD or PHR qualifications

Solid understanding of talent metrics and SLAs with the ability to understand and interpret talent data

Fluency in additional languages like Mandarin, Spanish, French, Portuguese or Russian

What we would be excited about

Knowledge in running assessment centres; training in assessor skills

Previous work experience in theme park groups in a similar role
