We are looking for a Purchase Assistant to join our team.
The Candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 Years of experience in sourcing goods and procurement.
Preference given to Ladies.

Responsibilities: -

• To assist Purchasing Manager with day-to-day functions.
• Sourcing the goods from local and international.
• Ensure that all items received are properly documented in accordance with the company’s purchasing and receiving procedures.
• Ensure that all purchase order requests are properly completed and approved before the items are purchased.
• Candidates with 2 to 3 Years of UAE experience are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent knowledge of MS EXCEL
• To keep a database of all the suppliers & all the LPOS.

You as a Sales & Order Handling Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Abu Dhabi; UAE. You will be taking responsibility for sales and order execution of transformers within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

Strategy: Planning and implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with BU and Country sales strategy.

Sales Targets: Achieving sales performance targets in respect of both budgets and sales, project execution in assigned area.

Customer acquisition: Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines plans for acquisition.

Information sharing: Coordinating the flow of information for sales activities and transactions and evaluates data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitoring and providing reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence.

Customer relations: Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers. Ensuring efficient marketing communications.

Offer preparation: Taking ownership of the tendering processes for the assigned market in coordination with the bid and proposal department or market manager. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers including integrity and trade compliance.

Project Execution & cash flow management: Ensuring the execution of the projects in the assigned area according to agreed terms and conditions of the contracts in terms of schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, cost management and on-time cash collection through smooth and tight communication with supply factories and customers during project execution of not only contracts signed by the Local BU, but also direct supply contracts signed by factories with customers.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring proper implementation of customer complaint resolution process tool for early closure of customer complaints.

Your background

A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

10 years of experience.

Knowledge in sales and order handling activities.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Occupational Health Specialist Nurse, Emirates Group, Dubai, UAE

Job Purpose

To provide a comprehensive occupational health service for ground staff, in liaison with the Physicians assigned to Occupational Medicine. This should include designing, developing and implementing standards and policies on occupational health surveillance and education. Contributes to the implementation of sickness and industrial injury absence management strategies for ground staff to facilitate an early and safe return to work, provides consultancy and advice as required in areas of occupational health, and participates in the company wide Health and Safety programmes.

Job Outline

- Lead and provide a range of health protection/surveillance activities for company staff as required.

- This can include but is not limited to, workplace health surveillance and screening, pre- employment screening, case management of uncomplicated Industrial Injury and long term sick leave patients and staff vaccination programs.

- Liaise closely with senior line management and Group Safety. Communicate safety concerns to relevant managers and provide advice on appropriate solutions. Work with line management to formulate and implement improvements relating in occupational health. For example: designing education materials and delivering key information at team/management meetings.

- Research, develop and provide suggestions for implementation of pre-employment medical standards and periodic health checks for safety critical ground staff, liaising closely with internal departments and external authorities and licensing bodies. Benchmark appropriately to ensure the company is following or exceeding best practice.

- Design and generate sickness and industrial injury medical reports related to ground staff and provide inputs into the case management and rehabilitation of long term absences with line manager, HR and the treating physician

- Conduct a range of assessments and workplace inspections as mandated by regulations, for example assessments relating to display screen equipment (DSE), liaising with / supporting Group Safety where appropriate in relation to assessments and inspections for personal protective equipment (PPE) and control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH). Ensure that professional knowledge and awareness of best practice in this area is developed and maintained.

- Conduct needs assessment for health promotion within the company, priorities activities in consultation with management, develop and deliver targeted health initiatives. Monitor effectiveness of interventions through audit.

- Keep contemporaneous medical records. Maintain medical confidentiality and ethical standards in accordance with professional body and EK policy. Undertake quality improvement initiatives, both for delivery of service and for improvement of professional standards within the department.

- Responsible for maintaining expertise and providing information and relevant advice on infection control and disposal of clinical waste in the work place, for departments as directed by Doctor (Occupational Medicine).

- Lead and supervise the Occupational Health Operational Team consisting of Nurses and Administration staff

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

- Medical/Safety/Nurse : 5+ Years

- Degree or Honours: (12+3 or equivalent)

- Degree preferably in Nursing.

- Post graduate Occupational Health Diploma essential.

Skills

- Post-registration experience in a recognized medical institution with evidence of continuing education and professional development.

- 2 years of experience in Occupational Medicine is desirable.

- Leadership experience desirable

- Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Emirate of Dubai, by DHA

- Leadership Role : YES

- Safety Sensitive Role: No
