We are seeking a Knowledge Manager experienced with Energy and Natural Resources to lead our team in the Middle East! The position would be based in Dubai or Riyadh, but the role has both global and local dimensions and responsibilities.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Knowledge Management team at Oliver Wyman are an integral business function, truly embedded in the industries, capabilities and platforms, ensuring we harness the best of our expertise as a firm globally. We play a key role in the practice area thought leadership, content and ways of working.
As a Knowledge Manager at Oliver Wyman, you will be involved in setting the strategy and executing best in-class knowledge management. You will take a key role with cross-practice collaboration across the knowledge management team ensuring a seamless flow of information globally. You will proactively manage the synthesis and codification of our intellectual capital and act as the lynchpin, connecting people to the experts, expertise and insights efficiently.
Our Energy and Natural Resources team are looking for an experienced knowledge management professional to join them in an exciting role. This role reports directly to the EIMEA Head of Knowledge Management in London, working closely with our Senior Knowledge Manager team based in London and Munich, and has a high level of direct interaction within our wider Knowledge Management community and the Energy and Natural Resources practice area. This role will be supported by Knowledge Analysts and a Knowledge Assistant based in our service hubs.

Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources business recognizes that given the unprecedented shifts taking place in the energy world, many traditional energy business models are becoming obsolete. The move toward decarbonization and the energy transition, coupled with technological innovation have introduced opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve the customer experience, and collaborate with other industries. And with these opportunities come a new array of risks to navigate.
We work with energy companies to address strategic and operational challenges through proven, results-oriented approaches. Our expertise is based on deep industry experience across the oil and gas, utilities, chemicals, and mining sectors. Clients turn to us to help them seize new trends, challenges, and opportunities in energy, while managing their existing business and assets efficiently and effectively.
YOUR ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:
Clients hire Oliver Wyman for specialized expertise; the ideal candidate will have most of the following:
You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in knowledge management, research or business development within the Energy and Natural Resources sectors
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
Fluent in Arabic and English
An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program with a strong GPA
Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use
Strong and proactive client service mindset
Aptitude and analytical skills to tackle complex challenges
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our incredibly talented team
