Activity Manager- Automation, Schneider Electric, Riyadh, KSA

Job Description:

Manage the offer roadmap and communicates offer vision, maximizing market shares and profitability, and ensure growth and profitability of Digital factory Automation offers (PLCs, HMI, Machine controllers and associated softwares)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and update regularly the commercial and technical argumentation related to the offer(s) and circulate to all concerned internal & external customers.

Take full ownership of the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place) of the offer and put in place plans for profitable growth.

Manage the offer introduction in the country.

Pre-qualification of new/adapted offer with main customers

Identify offer gaps and suggest offer evolution, fix priorities related to market requirements.

Build the specifications of the offer in line with the international and local standards.

Define the needs in terms of offer documentation, as well as tools and software when necessary.

Create and propose promotional and specification action and communication.

Monitor the competition and analyze competitors offer positioning at country level (strategy, marketing mix …).

Ensure that all relevant actors (Sales, customer marketing, communication, Customer Care Centre, Solution Centre, logistics…) are properly trained concerning the offer sold in the country and have the right tools/methodologies.

Define and implement all necessary action plans targeted at boosting the offers (especially “Challenge” offers and prescription) in all targeted Market segments

Visit the Market and meet customer for gathering competitors’ actions, in order to implement the necessary action plan for the offer in charge of.

Propose marketing plans for targeted market segments to boost existing & new offers.

Make detailed synthesis of the activity at family & GDP level every 3 months to evaluate the present performance compared to previous years.

Work in coordination with other BU’s and make specific Action plans for their targeted segments to achieve cross selling objectives.

Provide timely & accurate forecast to the DC, logistics and other entities to ensure timely availability of products to our customers.

Contribute to the price positioning and consolidated margin (CCO) optimization for the whole offer sold in the country

Qualifications

 

Engineering Degree:  (Electrical/Electronics)

Experience:       

Min. 3 years in the field of Industrial Automation

Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Industrial PCs and Industrial Control Softwares

Saudi National preferred

Primary Location: SA-Central-Riyadh Regional office

Schedule: Full-time

Job Description

Review the Mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, pre-qualifications, and technical calculations alongside method statements, ITPs, and Quality Checklists for acceptance.

Monitor the mechanical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents, approved drawings, project specifications and requirements, manufacturer’s instructions, and the procedures manual.

Ensure that the quality of all Mechanical works carried out at the project site is as per the client's requirements and in compliance with the project quality plan (QPP) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP).

Schedule and conduct the inspection and test in coordination with the discipline engineer as per Project Technical specification requirements & ITP.

Prepare and provide Monthly Progress reports along with trackers to monitor the work progress of the Contractor and provide requested documents from the Client.

In support of the Sr. Mechanical Manager to review the Mechanical technicalities, Shop Drawings, Material Submittal, Mechanical Calculations, and Technical issues.

Conducting daily site visits with the contractor QC team to monitor the Quality of work executing at the Site and maintaining the standards of execution by complying with Safety requirements.

Perform inspection of materials arriving at site & work done when advised.

Issue Site Observation & Potential PNCR when the specification or procedural requirements are not met/violating the compliance of the requirements with Project Technical requirements.

Inspect the Work inspection and Material Inspection, offered by the contractor, and make sure that all inspection Requests (IR) are provided with sufficient attachments such as the Test Report, Calibration Certificates, previous copies of the inspection report, and As-Built drawings.

Inspect and ensure proper installations are done as per the approved design drawings, project specifications & standards

Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring a Cost Manager who can lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of mission critical projects or programs.  

Responsibilities:  

Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.

Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.

Manages a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.

Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.

Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.

Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.

Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.

Recommends and oversees the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.

Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.

Participates in business development efforts by gathering and presenting a variety of background data. May be required to make informal or formal presentations.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Qualifications:  

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity surveying or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience) and typically 10+ years of related experience, as well as some experience in a supervisory capacity.
