THE POSITION

We are hiring a Market Access Manager for India, Middle East, Turkey & Africa (IMETA), based in Dubai, reporting to the Head of Market Access, Health Care Affairs, Innovation & Patient Engagement IMETA.

This position has an impact on the business through provision of advisory services in support of strategic decision making.

Interfaces are Medical, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Legal functions, Health Economics & Outcome Research and Corporate Customer Value as well as Corporate Market Access functions in Therapeutic Areas.

The role holder will be responsible for:

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop Market access strategies for new pipeline within IMETA

• Provide strategic guidance and updates on access strategies, pricing, reimbursement for respective therapy area

• Collaborate and cascade market access therapy area strategies from Corporate to local countries

• Work closely with Regional & Local Market access team on pricing, reimbursement, value proposition, health economics for respective therapy area

• Work closely with Health care affairs, innovation and patient engagement team to compliment access strategy for respective therapy area

• Drive strategic access initiatives across the region

• Support cross functional teams in establishing Integrated Business Plans

• Collaborate with respective cross functions in establishing access strategies

• Early engagement with payers and key stakeholders for early market understanding and shaping

• Monitor changes in pricing, enlisting and reimbursement regulations in OPU`s and develop / update relevant strategies and cascade it back to OPU`s

• Support Key Account Management enlisting strategies for OPUs

• Secure price approvals and archive approved prices at corporate level and database

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Economics or Business Administration, Master's in Health Economics and Pharma economics is a plus

• 5-7 years of experience in the field of market access, pricing and reimbursement

• Experience within the IMETA region is preferable

• Business fluent in English in its oral and written form

• Preferably business fluent in Arabic in its oral and written form

• Ability work independently in fast changing environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Overview of the role

To successfully organize programs and deliver business outcomes to the organization. The Program Manager will develop programs to support the organization’s strategic direction and OKRs (Objectives & Key Results). The Program Manager will be responsible for developing budgets and writing program, project and continuous improvement agile PODs funding requests

What you will do

Program Management

Manage programs of medium to high complexity while ensuring compliance to the EIT standard program & project management methodology, processes & tools ensuring organizational goals are achieved

Drive the delivery of the program roadmap, which include both Agile and Waterfall projects as well as dedicated Agile PODs for Continuous improvement of existing products

Engage with business and technology stakeholders to successfully meet the outcomes planned and as per the timelines

Orchestrate the delivery of projects within time and budget, adhere to high quality standards and meeting customer expectations

Leadership & Resource Management

Effectively mobilize and manage project resources (manpower, equipment & material) and lead the team towards successful delivery

Allocate and assign work assignments to resources in conjunction with the Engineering Heads

Manage relationships with key implementation vendors on projects; optimize engagement and drive execution

Effective utilization of project team, mitigate team conflict and communication problems; motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner

Facilitate/Support the change management aspects by demonstrating high level of maturity & leadership skills

Governance & Communication

Overall program governance and direction, implementing course corrections as needed

Focal point for the program communications to sponsors, stakeholders and Program steering committee

Ensure timely & relevant communication with all function-technical areas that impact scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed

Ensure compliance with EIT standard PM methodology, IT Policies, Security Standards.

Ensure to steer the project teams & provide required coaching & guidance to the team members

Required skills to be successful

15+ years IT Experience, including 10+ years demonstrated experience in successful delivery of medium to large scale projects and programs; experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions. Must have exposure in successful delivery of Agile projects. Candidate should have a good hands-on experience on project delivery using Waterfall, Agil & Hybrid models.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and ability to deal with different levels of people within the organization. Results oriented and structured thinking.

Expertise in Microsoft packages, including Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel. Experience with Jira and Confluence for task and communication management. Exposure to Microsoft Projects Online will be an added advantage.

What equips you for the role

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field; Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum. Agile (Scrum/Safe) certification.

Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Corporate HR and Finance functions.

Advanced experience in IT Project Management and Agile Project Management / Scrum Master / Product Owner
