Job Description

We are looking for a strong technical sales support specialist responsible for orchestrating pre-sales engagement to current and prospective clients.

The position requires a strong technical background who understands how his or her decisions impact and influence the customer’s bottom line while at the same time drive revenue.

S/HE must be seen as a trusted advisor at all levels within an account (C-Suite, technical stakeholders, etc.), as well as, be a team leader, mentor, teach, and contribute to overall success.

S/He drives or supports complex sales opportunities by translating business requirements into solution technical requirements; coordinating technical expertise; sizing, scoping, defining delivery and deployment approach, timeline, and required resources; coordinating demonstrations and proof-of-concept; and supporting internal deal acceptance.

S/He should also be able to clearly identify the business cases that will enable the sales team to target and generate maximum revenue.

S/He interacts regularly with the sales, channel, marketing, and operations teams for their territory to facilitate pipeline generation, acceleration, and closure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in technical/solutions design of products/services;
  • Work with the Sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies and achieve set targets;
  • Create specific accounts for product(s), service(s) and sales plans pertaining to products/services;
  • Collaborate with the Sales team in qualifying opportunities, supporting and advising on the technical aspect of the sales lifecycle including technical qualification, presentation of solution proposals and high-level designs and demonstrations;
  • Run, manage and drive proof of concepts (POC) and request for proposals (RFP) and close opportunities from a pre-sales and implementation perspective;
  • Manage adoption, integration and value generation of products/services within the customer/partner business and related IT infrastructure;
  • Complete required pre-sales documentations in a quick and accurate manner;
  • Develop content, train and support partners and customers;
  • Respond to after-hours support queries during assigned rotations and escalate issues if needed;
  • Put available systems into practice (salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management) for output efficiency and standardization.
  • Build sound relationships with partners and customers in support of sales objectives, engage personnel and leverage corporate resources and budgets as appropriate;
  • Identify customers’ queries and problems, attend to their needs and map requirements with existing solutions;
  • Create training contents when and if necessary;
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports and review performance with the concerned management team;

Skills

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science/engineering or related and proven technical field experience in IT industry preferred.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills; ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Requires strong consultative selling skills which pair product expertise with business, industry and competitive acumen. Solid experience with business case creation.
  • Success penetrating and managing major accounts (Fortune 500-1000).
  • Demonstrates solid experience delivering, presenting, selling, supporting assigned Enterprise /Commercial Clients and/or territories.
  • Provides strong competitive knowledge
  • Proven strong experience selling, conducting Proof of Concept (POC), architecting data management solutions
  • Ability to work in a rapid growth environment where priorities, roles and responsibilities are continuously updated to meet market and customer demands.
  • Experienced in participating in and building teams of specialists to support customers and sales cycles to successful outcomes.
  • Basic knowledge with common Software licensing practices (cloud, perpetual, term, maintenance)
  • Enterprise application exposure or knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Exchange, db2, SharePoint, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as storage, servers, networking, cloud , hyper-convergence, etc.

Load Master Officer, Qatar Airways, Doha, Qatar

 About the role:

As a Load Master Officer you will be a member of the flying crew for QE aircraft private fleet. Main responsibilities of this role include correct weight and load distribution on the airplane, accurate Weight and Balance calculations ensuring safe operations of the flight, checking, measuring and weighing of passenger baggage and cargo, preparation of Load Sheet, Trim Sheet and LIR (Loading Instruction report) documents for the flight. Load Master Officer task is to communicate and coordinate with ground handler for all required activities pertaining flight, to monitor, guide and control complete process of cargo loading and to ensure aircraft is secured at parking stand. Load Master Officer is required to be on standby and contactable on short notice for any new flight request or further changes in accordance to their legality to operate flights as per QCAA regulations. This Role will also include office shifts with Ground Services team, when not assigned on flights
  • Planning, monitoring and controlling the process of aircraft loading, ensuring that all operational and safety procedures are maintained and considering different aircraft cargo compartment layouts, designs and configurations. 
  • Pre-planning of Load Sheet and Trim Sheet document by anticipating and calculating estimated baggage and cargo weights for the flight.
  • Preparation of final Load Sheet, Trim Sheet and LIR documents for the flight based on real passenger figures, baggage and cargo weights, ensuring safe and efficient flight operation.
  • Liaise with Ground Handler and communicate and coordinate with Handler for all required operational and handling activities pertaining the flight
  • Liaising closely with Flight Deck crew and exchanging all required information and data important for flight operation.
  • Ensure cargo loading is performed in line with the Dangerous goods regulations and Company procedures in order to avoid any damage to aircraft during loading process.
  • Responsible for performing flight Departure related activities, including but not limited to : planning and requesting the equipment and services in advance, coordinating with destination handling agent and providing the handling package information, advising the QE handling policy to handling agent, performing Safety checks as per defined procedures, performing GSE equipment check as per defined procedures, preparing and releasing ULD’s according to defined procedures, performing LMC check, prepare and present NOTOC to PIC, monitoring complete GSE utilization and services, keeping IOC informed about the progress of the flight, and conduct overall flight observation and final check of cargo holds and cargo doors after all loading activities completed.
  • When not on flying duties, Load Master Officer office tasks will include following (not limited to: arranging ground handling and fuel services for upcoming flights, updating Station Briefings and Station Ground Handling Evaluation documents, checking and verifying invoices (for Private and Commercial fleet), maintain training records, updating Load Master monthly roster.

Qualifications

About you:
An ideal candidate will have:
Essential
  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
Preferred
  • Technical field education
  • Licence/certificate in Weight & Balance and/or Ground services
Previous Experience:
Essential

 Minimum 4 years relevant experience

  • Previous experience in Load Master or Load Controller duties and task.
Preferred
  • 5 years overall experience in Ground Services of which last 3 years should be Supervisory level.
  • 3 years minimum experience in a Load Master /Load controller position
  • Weight & balance qualified, preferably licensed
  • Practical manual handling / loading experience of both commercial and freighter (preferable) operations to IATA operational standards
  • Pushback – Headset – Marshalling – Deck Loader – Manual Loading – De-icing (preferable) practical experience alongside the operating of all other basic GSE to service aircraft
  • Awareness of Ramp Safety to current IATA standards
  • Qualifications and practical experience in the handling and loading of Dangerous Goods

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of BA (Hons) degree qualification, or equivalent, in Film and TV, Fine Art, Media, Cinema, Theatre, Art Design discipline.
  • Minimum 1-4 years of professional experience within a television production environment or equivalent professional experience (including relevant technical and software skills).
  • English as first language or educated to degree level within English curriculum.
  • Significant professional writer/ Assistant producer experience.
  • Previous experience within a broadcast On Air promotion.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
