    The Programmer will be responsible for the design, building, wiring, and programming, troubleshooting and reporting of PLC system integrations for production automation on Siemens systems.

 

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, program and wire integration of manufacturing plant with CNC machines
• Assist the automation process in all the automation projects
• Other automation/programming projects might be assigned in the future
• Work with operations group to develop and implement process automation solutions
• PLC programming of new and existing Siemens products
• Provide technical support and system upgrades
• Maintain equipment drives and control systems
• Develop and maintain system preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
• Lead and assist in system troubleshooting and repairs. Determine root cause of electrical failures and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
• Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of specifications
• Project management for new equipment implementation, control system installations and modifications
• Program troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution
• Other tasks, as assigned by Plant Manager

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology curriculum or equivalent with demonstrated experience in industry
• 5-8 years PLC programming experience required
• Experience with Siemens 7 products
• Experience with ladder logic and ability to create and interpret ladder logic diagrams
• Experience creating controls and electrical circuit drawings, on-site troubleshooting and panel design
• Robotic programming and/or motion/servo experience
• Experience with controls integrating electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience and ability to wire control panels, install and maintain controllers, properly label, and document installations
• Proficiency with PC’s, windows and Microsoft Office
• Ability to comprehend both written and verbal English language

 

Experience:

• School degree or electrical engineering degree with 3years experience or 5 years experience in the industry

About The Role

As a Scuba Diver, you will demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethics while providing everlasting experiences for our guests in the Lost Chambers aquarium. You will use strong communication skills in order to actively promote our products and services while selling our high revenue generating programs.

 

In this role, you will provide healthy sanitary and living conditions for all aquatic animals while actively supporting our marine education and conservation efforts. You will also ensure you stay up to date on First Aid and PADI instruction training along with our organizational policies and procedures. You will maintain exhibits and lagoons both above and below water surface, sustain equipment related to personal and guest usage, attend meetings and trainings while assisting with our leading your own guest related programs. You will perform diving duties involving heavy lifting which require that you remain fit and healthy.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate must have at least PADI Divemaster license - Certified insttructors prefered -  along with at least 2 years of experience in a busy Dive Center. A certified DSD leader is a must.
