Job Purpose
To further develop, implement and manage our environmental policies and positions as they relate to the operations of the Emirates Group. This involves work on all environment linked internal and corporate policies, performance reporting, stakeholder relationships, UAE/global regulatory policy challenges - as well as helping to advance Emirates position and interests on matters such as emission trading schemes, airline industry initiatives and environmental taxation. You will be responsible for ensuring the Emirates Group remains a leader in terms of its environmental performance and development of eco-efficient initiatives. Job Outline: - Refinement, evolution and implementation of Emirates' environmental policy. - Help Emirates become an environmental leader in our region and internationally on key issues. - Lead and facilitate departments across the Group to ensure leading edge environmental performance and improvement - including fuel efficiency, emission reductions, utility efficiency and recycling projects. - Responsibility for our environmental reporting schedule, government/authority requirements and overall transparency/messaging in this area. - Proactive and reactive management of relevant international and local environmental issues relating to air passenger and cargo transport and advise EK's management on their impact on Emirates' current and future plans. - Manage a team of specialists and other department analysts to support all company environment policies and initiatives. - Develop, drive and implement a communication/activation plan for the department's environmental initiatives, both internally and externally. - Development of matrix of key environmental affairs stakeholders and management of this matrix and associated relationships. - Source valuable intelligence and analysis of environmental policy and political/regulatory developments. - To participate and advance the Emirates agenda at relevant industry forums and associations such as IATA, AACO, IACO etc.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Ideally this degree is in Environment/Science, Engineering, Economics or Public Policy. Experience: Commercial/Sales.Research/Analysis : 10+ Years - Relevant experience in government, industry or in a relevant sector. - Evidence of specific environmental experience (regulator, aviation/transport company or NGO) International experience and expertise, as well as skills in coalition building/working group activation. - Practical experience, understanding and exposure to the aviation industry and its environmental policies/challenges. Ability/skills: - Strong technical and critical thinking ability. - Superior oral and written communication skills. - Influence and negotiation. - Excellent inter-personal skills.

The Role:

Job Description

This role will work closely with Cerner Qatar’s leadership, finance, legal and client-facing sales teams to support and advise them on commercial and contracting matters for existing and prospective clients. The candidate will be expected to review, draft, negotiate and assist with the execution of client contracts, amendments, change orders and tenders. The candidate will also advise on the interpretation and application of relevant Qatari laws and what contractual terms are customary in the market to best protect the business. After contract execution, the Senior Commercial Manager will also be responsible for tracking Cerner’s contractual commitments and supervising they are delivered to clients by Cerner and its subcontractors.

Together with the client-facing sales team, the candidate will maintain excellent relationships and levels of satisfaction with relevant clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to be monitored via net promoter (NPS) and customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores. The candidate will support the team with pipeline forecasts and identifying opportunities for client upgrades, enhancements, and white space opportunities.

Working closely with the finance and client-facing sales team, the candidate will support to collections process, including invoicing, accounts receivable, collections and aged debt. The candidate will also work with the operations team to ensure Cerner Qatar continues to comply with its operational requirements, including software escrow commitments, insurance coverage, corporate maintenance, tax liabilities and any other audit and compliance obligations.

The candidate will ensure that client needs and challenges are properly understood and prioritized within Cerner, risks are identified, and issues are escalated and resolved timeously.

The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all group and policies, processes, and procedures using their ability to read, interpret and provide clear and correct legal advice on contractual obligations, liabilities, and rights. They will have the ability to draft accurate, logical, and grammatically correct contractual provisions; and provide effective day-to-day management of contracts, including customer liaison and customer relationship management on contractual matters.

What you'll deliver

 You’ll manage the section and provide designated engineering services, in the form of maintenance and projects to support the business objectives and stakeholder requirement.

 You’ll deliver the successful implementation of the Engineering Services (ES) improvement programme on time and in full capacity by collaborating with both airports and wider stakeholders.

 You will be responsible for the quality of service provided by the section; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, identifying trends and recommending system improvements.

 You will deliver financial objectives by forecasting requirements by preparing a section annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.

 

What you bring

 You’ll be educated to a bachelor’s degree or a similar field in Engineering. Additional qualifications will be an advantage.

 You’ll have at least 8 years of experience of which at least 5 years should be in leading teams responsible for maintenance and projects

 You’ll have a wide and in-depth experience in engineering and maintenance and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems – Maximo or similar.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Executive Assistant

  • Provide secretarial support to the General Manager and department and ensure smooth management of day-to-day affairs, and most effective use of his/her time. Handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner.

  • Provide full secretarial and administrative support to General Manager

  • Helps key executives make consistent decisions by advising them of historical precedents, serving as liaison between them and the General Manager
  • Organize meetings and ensure that General Manager is well prepared for those meetings by preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers.

  • Leading the office admin works and organize office operations and procedures, including being responsible for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands.
