 Job Description

Job Purpose

Supports the development and delivery of an omnichannel communications strategy supported by test and learn and data analysis, focusing on targeted solutions led, lifecycle communications in line with global and regional business objectives. Leverages the client data in the CRM, by using D365 for Marketing as the campaign driver. Supports and delivers communications activities as required for the region, by coordinating a PR plan incorporating news releases, editorial, social media activities, and content for the website and other materials.  

Key Responsibilities

1. Communications Plan Delivery

  • Support the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager with generating annual communications plan, action it and monitor associated progress and report against KPIs. Provide regular reports as agreed.

  • Work in close coordination with the Global Communication team to ensure alignment and adherence to corporate standards.

  • Prepare press packs and briefs for PR agency, ensuring all materials are created on-brand and in line with best practice.

2. PR

  • Proactively identify and create relevant local (country and where relevant regional/global) news releases, editorial articles, and case studies.

  • Ensure there is an up-to-date list of media editors for targeted releases and ensure adherence to Fugro Global guidelines;

  • Work closely with the Regional and Global Marketing Managers to support the thought-leadership drive within the business and prepare short pieces of communication material for internal and external communications.

  • Coordinate with regional industry media and build relationships with media stakeholders, proactively growing and capturing PR opportunities.Social Media Marketing

  • Manage preparation of LinkedIn posts and articles for publication in coordination with the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager, following the agreed process.

  • Provide support to online marketing campaigns, liaising with the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager and country teams.

3. Regional Insite Page Coordination

  • Ensure timely updates of MEI regional intranet webpages with relevant internal and external news in line with the global guidelines and in coordination with the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager.

4. Promotional materials development

  • Develop promotional materials (videos, flyers, etc.) to support regional marketing campaigns, events, and business teams activity for focus solutions in accordance with the latest company guidelines and standards.

Education/Working experience

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Marketing, Media or Journalism

  • 3-5 years marketing experience, ideally in B2B sector

Languages & Proficiency

  • English - Proficient

Other

  • Previous experience in working in a matrix style organization

  • Experience in digital marketing

  • Experience in developing engaging content and promotional materials

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Native English speakers preferred

About the role

The Supply Chain Project Coordinator plays an important role in Kerry's ability to lead the New Dry Blending Product Introductions on site for scale ups, project management and commercializations, drive the flow and use of SFDC and overall commercialization at the sites.

The successful candidate should be an excellent team player where, he/she possess strong project management, influencing and analytical skills to make good decision.

Key responsibilities

  • Project manage the commercialization of key new products - coordinate and support cross-functional team (R&D, sales, Operation, Regulatory, Quality and Supply Chain) towards the same goal of successful commercialization of new products
  • Lead and coordinate all activities to deliver the first production of the key new product to meet the customer’s launch date
  • Produce weekly status reports on the status of new products
  • Support the key stakeholder in the process with commercialization issues and provide guidance on the use of Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Embed best practice and identify bottlenecks into the commercialization process. Act as an escalation point for any problems and work with teams and the Commercialization Manager to mitigate any risks to the project in question.
  • Assist Commercialization Manager with ad hoc, additional tasks when required such as the running of SFDC reports, training new users in the process, identification of process improvements, etc.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, Engineering or any related field
  • 1 to 2 years working experience in project coordination/management work or relevant work experience or Fresh graduate with good internship experiences
  • Strong business knowledge and ability to interface with commercial and business organisation
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluent in English and a good command of Arabic is desirable
  • Experience in NPI systems such as Optiva, MDG, SFDC an advantage

 MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To protect and enhance flydubai’s reputation is the responsibility of the Public Relations Team. As part of the Public Relations Team, the Press Officer will be responsible for developing and distributing content to a high quality in line with the airline’s corporate and commercial strategy. The Press Officer’s main responsibility is to maintain relations with the key media and stakeholders in the industry.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  1. To support the Marketing and Communications programme in delivering communications in support of the strategic objectives of the airline. To draft all content in line with the brand guidelines, the corporate messaging and style guide to protect the airline’s reputation. To raise the corporate profile around the flydubai network in support of the business objectives.
  2. The ability to adapt communications for publication across flydubai’s owned social media channels.
  3. To maintain and strengthen excellent relations with target media, analysts and social media influencers with the ability to communicate in a timely and effective way.
  4. To develop and maintain local and international target media lists using media monitoring tools. To ensure measurement of all PR activity through daily monitoring and scheduled reporting to all relevant stakeholders. To keep up to date with breaking news, the latest developments and trends in the industry.
  5. To manage the distribution of flydubai announcements through the airline’s online newsroom and ensure it is up to date with the latest facts and figures, announcements and media contacts.
  6. To work closely with the business to identify creative new stories and PR opportunities in support of business objectives. 
  7. To work closely with our PR agencies across the network to proactively plan ahead for announcements, media relations activity around events and launches in order to achieve maximum media coverage. Ensure that the agreed scope of work is delivered on time and to the standard we expect providing feedback.
  8. To play an active role in flydubai’s Issues Management and Emergency Response planning. To take part in a managed out of hours duty roster to ensure 24-hour, 365-day service and handle all media enquiries.
  9. The ability to travel across the flydubai network to support PR activities, press conferences and events as well as media and influencer fam trips. Project manage, deliver on time and to budget.
  10. Identify relevant industry speaking opportunities in line with the airline’s spokespersons programme including conferences, panel discussions and key industry awards.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent professional qualification in public relations, journalism or a related discipline

What does the role involve?
