Job purpose:

 

  • Review a variety of legal documents and provide legal advice to the wider Aldar business in order to mitigate legal risk

 

Responsibilities :

 

  • Autonomously review a variety of commercial agreements from end user departments. Agreements may include outsourcing arrangements, marketing arrangements, licenses, leases, sponsorship arrangements, services agreements, technology agreements, MOUs etc.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to end user departments
  • Assist other senior team members with large, complex strategic projects
  • Build relationships with end user departments
  • Provide clear legal instructions to external law firms
  • Comply with relevant internal governance documentation
  • Research and evaluate different risks regarding business decisions and operations
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on potential legal risks
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties as required
  • Draft and update legal templates as required
  • Deal with multiple stakeholders
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant legal updates
  • Co-ordinate, follow up and monitor the progress of active matters
  • Ability to prioritise work efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of advice provided
 

Qualifications

 

RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE

Min of: 6+ years of related experience in legal services

Role Purpose:

Board Meetings

  • To draft agendas for each board and committee meeting (to include the Group Board, Operating Boards and Joint Venture Boards) in consultation with the Company Secretary for approval by the Chairman.

  • To coordinate all logistics (flights, accommodation, and transport) for each of the board meetings.
