 Planning Specialist

  • Ensure material master data maintained with the internal and distributor is updated.                                                                                                                           .
  • Establish planning criteria at product level for KSA assortment, i.e. on stock vs buy to order.                                                                                                 
  • Evaluate stock levels and in transit to determine whether current levels are aligned with stock holding policy.                                

  • Work closely with the distributor and direct customer to develop and maintain a monthly replenishment plan for the current month and a rolling 12-month plan for all distributor warehouses in KSA.                            

                                                                                                                                               

  • Work closely with the warehouse to develop a weekly transfer plan between regional warehouses to ensure appropriate allocation of stock within KSA.                                                                                                                                                                                                 .
  • Ensure the MRP runs timely and correctly.                                                                                                                                                                                              
  • Create a corrective action plan and implement it if low or high stock levels are noted.                                                                                                                                                                     
  • Provide a 3-month forecast of products at or near expiry with reasons.                                                                                                                                                                                             
  • Ensure all order requirements are met before instrument orders are released.      

                                                                                                                                               

  • Ensure all in-transit data between Roche Diagnostics Global and Roche DSA is reconciled frequently.
  • Prepare the necessary reports in preparation for Sales & Operation planning
  • Work closely with Global planners and the customer service team to manage bottlenecks per Roche Policy.
  • Assist the Order Management team to troubleshoot delayed orders due to stock availability.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the corporate policies, process and Quality System and recommend potential improvements to Supervisor and Quality Manager.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential/Minimum

Desirable

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
  • 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Bachelor in Supply chain management is preferred

Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist
Reporting Into: General Manager, Saudi Arabia

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

 

Job Objective:

To provide hands on procurement operational support required for the Saudi Arabia operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management

• Initiate and manage the supplier registration process and ensure all new suppliers complete all required formalities
• Identify and recommend need for long-term purchase agreements or framework agreements (as required) and initiate competitive procurement process for creating such agreements. Additionally, obtain approval of such agreements as per the Delegation of Authority.
• Manage the procurement process from purchase requests from end user up to issuance of the Purchase Order/ Contract as required
• Prepare RFQs/ RFPs as applicable, solicit and evaluate vendor responses to RFQs/ RFPs
• Ensure that goods and services are purchased in a timely manner.
• Conduct site visits for key suppliers providing goods and services and document accordingly (as required)
• Follow-up on orders placed to ensure timely deliveries
• Ensure suppliers adhere to the highest ethical standards in relation to their work with the Group
• Maintain Procurement System

Vendor Management

• Evaluate services of all suppliers on a periodic basis and coordinate the supplier evaluation process
• Identify alternative suppliers to meet present and future needs and requirements of the Group
• Minimize the cost of products and services which meet the Group’s needs, and establish strong vendor relationships

Product and Services knowledge

• Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, standards, and leading practices related to procurement.

Contracts Management and Service Level Agreements

• Effectively negotiate Purchase Orders/ Contracts and service levels
• Contribute to work planning and effectively brief contractors and suppliers

Value for money and reporting

• Monitor methods and output to ensure that required quality standards are achieved at a minimum cost.
• Establish procurement savings targets each year in close coordination with the Purchase Manager and ensure monitoring against these targets.
• Prepare quarterly reports for review and submit to the Purchase Manager.

Inventory Management

• Participate in Inventory take monthly
• Organize quarterly inventory on all Inventory & Operating equipment

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Technical and Market Knowledge – understanding the procurement challenges within the country across business verticals.
• Communication skills – ability to communicate effectively.
• Results Orientation – strong procurement and contracts acumen and ability to negotiate and terms and conditions and MSAs.
• Strong professional experience managing procurement function for a country, or a business unit well versed with Vendor Management, Products and Services, Contracts Management, Service Level Agreement, and Inventory Management.

 

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 5-10 years´ work experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Event industry experience would be desirable and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal in Business English, and Arabic would be advantageous.

Job Title: Legal Counsel – Consumer Products
Reports To (Title): Head of TRY, WM & Consumer Products

Purpose:

Group Legal’s mandate is to manage legal risk in line with the Bank’s appetite (as defined by the Board, ExCo and senior management) and to provide legal advice & support to the Group.

The purpose of this role is to provide legal advice, support and to manage legal risk specifically for the Group’s Consumer, Private Banking and Wealth Management activities (including consumer and wealth management products/terms and conditions and general queries, and funds and fund management), including defining strategic approaches to management of legal risk in those areas, with the aim of ensuring that the exposure of ENBD Group to legal risk is managed such that the Group’s strategic objectives are achieved.
 

  • Advising members of management as legal counsel.
  • Providing legal services for the Group’s Consumer, Private Banking and Wealth Management activities (including consumer, wealth management products/terms and conditions and general queries).
  • Assisting the Group in understanding its legal risk appetite and, participating in the implementation of a legal strategy, plans and programs across the Group to enable the organisation to deliver on its commercial and customer priorities.
  • Advising the Group’s consumer, private banking and wealth management teams to ensure that legal implications of business decisions are appropriately considered and that the banks operations are compliant with local and international legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Supporting the Group Legal’s wealth management and consumer products functions in the delivery of high quality and commercially focused legal services that protect the Group’s interests and manage legal exposure within legal risk appetite as defined and understood by the Group.
  • Anticipating, identifying and managing legal risks, and initiating corrective action where necessary, in order to protect the interests of the Group. The role will also involve the management of relationships with external counsel, and ensuring that external counsel service and costs are appropriate at all times, and that external counsel deliver effective advice.
  • Managing the junior team members comprised within Group Legal’s wealth management and consumer products team.
  • Being involved in the provision of legal training (either by thewealth management and consumer products Team) or by coordination with external counsel to internal colleagues on core areas of legal risk, as well as emerging areas of legal risk.
  • Demonstrating emerging skill levels in communication, influencing, commercial awareness, professional excellence and self-development, operational excellence and efficiency and in awareness and management of legal risk.
  • Managing transactions and projects with limited supervision.

Qualifications

 

Specifications:

A. Education:

  • LLB/LLM holder and/or post graduate Diploma in Legal practice
  • Certified & qualified Solicitor/Lawyer

B. Experience: 

  • 3 to 7 years PQE preferably in a reputable international bank.
  • Wealth management & private banking law and product background, preferably also with fund management, investment management and brokerage experience.

C. Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to distil and communicate complex advice in an understandable manner
