Be the IT focal point for first-line advice and support to all business units for IT Telecommunications hardware, systems and procedures in this phone based role located in the Auckland CBD.

To succeed in this role you must have:

    A relevant IT qualification
    Previous IT Help Desk or IT Support experience in a corporate environment (preferred)
    Strong knowledge of information management systems, procedures and technology
    Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
    Recognised customer service and relationship building skills
    Excellent time management, prioritising and multitasking skills

We're looking for someone who:

    Thrives on complex and technical challenges

The Role:        

The IT Administrator will be responsible for general IT troubleshooting, installing, and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Providing technical support across the company, you will respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests, managing your task list using Asana, the in-house project management system. Typical tasks will include assisting with onboarding processes by setting up new accounts for new users, repairing and replacing equipment as necessary, and testing new technology. Reporting to the IT & Cybersecurity Manager, you will monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, and assist with ad-hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant:        

We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator to join our diverse technology driven environment who is a natural problem-solver and multi-tasker, with exceptional people skills and a pro-active, positive attitude.

You will be comfortable assisting a broad range of people with varying degrees of technical understanding with both general and sometimes unique IT issues – our global team includes both highly technical engineers and developers, and staff that are far less technically savvy. Patient and practical by nature, you're able to prioritise between conflicting “urgent” requests, acting promptly where critical issues may arise. This role entails providing support both in person and by phone to staff based both in New Zealand or our global locations, and your nature is to remain calm in situations when things don’t work as planned!

Job Purpose

Generic Accountabilities

2. Corporate Governance and Compliance Work fully within risk policies and procedures and compliance regulations and ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks
Specific Accountabilities

    Branch management Propose plans and activities for the branch which align with RBD’s overall objectives
    Sales Manage branch sales activities and deliver branch sales in line with budget
    Business development Develop marketing and business opportunities by representing the bank externally and in the community
    Business banking Manage business customers and ensure services offered and delivered are in line with guidelines
    Priority customers Manage priority customers and deliver sales of services and products
    Customer service Deliver excellent customer service, manage customer service initiatives service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    Customer accounts Manage requests for loans etc. within authority matrix
    Branch operations Manage branch operations to ensure all operations and processing are in line with timeframes and procedures
    Marketing Manage marketing and sales campaigns and initiatives
    Premises Manage premises issues and ensure refurbishment, security and maintenance issues are addressed

Education
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience in Business Administration and Management
Experience

    At least 7 years’ banking sector experience
    Experience of a range of retail banking roles

Skills

    Knowledge of retail banking products and services
    Good understanding of customer needs
    Knowledge of retail network operations and procedures
