Position Objectives:

    Build up and develop new Bidding Documents (RFQ, RFI, RFP)
    Ensure timely and correct responses to customer and bidders inquiries and detailed Scope, Key performance indicators, and most accurate cost estimations

Job description and responsibilities

    Provide the most efficient technique and practice that meet new projects awarding section objective.
    Inject newly approved products into the organization price book with required technical and financial assessment.
    Maintain, control, and optimize the change management process through the organization's ongoing projects.
    Manage the process of bidding and contract management effectively and efficiently to ensure value for new projects, improved service, and
    appropriate relationships, across a wide range of contract types and suppliers.
    Maintain a neat and organized work area that allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.
    Attend and participate in meetings.
    Performs other duties related to project deliverables as directed by a supervisor.
    Managing Internal and External stakeholders across technical and managerial aspects.
    Estimate an accurate costing model plus Bill of Quantity for new projects and site feasibility.
    Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations in company contracts or agreements solutions beneficial to all stakeholders.
    Coordinate with Solutions Team periodically for New Solutions and Products approvals to minimize Change Order
    Analyze and study customer RFP and scope requirements based on sites conditions
    Technical participation in analyzing new regulations and customer requirements and with needed facilitation with the Network team
    Negotiate contracts with other parties to meet stakeholder objectives while achieving maximum overall cost optimization.
    Evaluate Contract and supporting documents in vendor agreements.
    Provide the most efficient technique and practices in cost estimations for new Projects and any new opportunities.
    Prepare detailed documentation to support a bid for a new project such as building a new site, Collocation, and upgrade, Capex replacement, etc.
    Perform a direct technical negotiation with procurements and partners.

Qualifications and Skills

    Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
    Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in Contracts & RFPs management (at least 5 years within Telecom industry)
    Preferred experience of administering Telecom contracts in KSA, preferably large-scale network deployment programs.
    Extensive knowledge and professional experience in contract management, Bid & Tendering Management (RFPs/RFQs/RFIs), project reporting, and coordination.
    Good presentation and reporting skills backed by proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.  
    Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both written and spoken) and Arabic is a must.
    Locally available candidates with Transferable iqama will be preferred.

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team.

The zest group provides insurance products and services for domestic appliances and entertainment equipment. Zest is an ambitious, growing business focused on providing an exceptional experience for our customers and employees.

Working hours & salary:

Salary: £26,000-£30,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise the accounts assistant and help with daily tasks including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, purchase ledger and posting of bank receipts.

• Take ultimate responsibility for the purchase ledger and all the postings within it.

• Run and review aged creditors report for all companies at month end.

• Reconcile creditor accounts to supplier statements at month end.

• Maintain the supplier accounts on the purchase ledger for all companies.

• Post intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany balances.

• Prepare and post journals for credit card statements.

• Reconcile and post petty cash.

• Prepare accounts to trial balance for all companies in the group to be reviewed by the Finance Manager.

• Assist with audit and year end queries for all companies.

• Purchase ledger processing and importing of direct debits file in accounts assistant’s absence.

• Payroll cover (after appropriate training) on an adhoc basis.

• Undertake ad-hoc tasks to assist the Finance Manager and Head of Finance.

• Maintain consistent effective communication within the team, and all relevant areas of the business.

Key skills and experience required:

• Advanced Excel skills

• AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience

• Ability to work on multiple projects at a fast pace and deliver results timely and accurately.

• Experience of managing staff in a busy purchase ledger environment

• Some exposure to payroll.

• Analytical skills

The University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Senior Accounting Assistant to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Finance team. The role will be based in various locations dependent on requirements of the team and Faculty. Predominantly University Park/Jubilee for team specific days but travel to Faculty sites including Sutton Bonington and the Medical School should be expected.

The successful candidate will report into the Assistant Finance Manager – Life Sciences and will support day to day operational and financial management to both the FM and AFM’s in the team.

    Assisting with drafting monthly management accounts.
    Assisting with analysis of budget variances.
    Journal and accrual processing and other data entry.

    Maintaining a high level of customer service as required.

We are looking for a confident and proactive finance professional with strong accounting skills and desire to develop their knowledge, an eye for detail and a desire for things to be done accurately, efficiently, and right first time. The role will also require good interpersonal, IT and organisational skills.

This role is available on a permanent, full time (36.25 hours) basis. Job share arrangements may be considered.
