Director, Legal, Saudi Arabia

Job Description

The Director, Legal will be responsible for managing the organization's legal activities. This role will require a strong understanding of legal principles and best practices, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, employees, regulatory bodies, and outside counsel. The Director, Legal will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute legal strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives and protect the organization's legal rights.

 

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the organization's legal policies and procedures.

Collaborate with executives, employees, regulatory bodies, and outside counsel to define legal objectives and requirements.

Develop and implement legal strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Analyze legal data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Provide recommendations and insights on legal issues to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Develop and maintain relationships with external legal service providers and industry groups.

Ensure that all legal activities are compliant with legal and ethical requirements.

Develop and manage legal budgets and financial performance.

Communicate legal initiatives and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal practice or related field.

Strong understanding of legal principles and best practices.

Experience developing and implementing legal strategies and initiatives.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
