Bilingual HVAC Sales Engineer, Doha, Qatar

We need a Bilingual HVAC Sales Engineer,

Assessing client needs, designing tailored HVAC solutions, and overseeing the sales process from lead generation to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the specific heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) requirements of clients including the project scope, environmental conditions, and energy efficiency goals.
• Responsible for lead generation and achieve the given sales target.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design custom HVAC solutions that meet client needs, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, explaining the technical aspects of HVAC systems, how they meet client needs, and the benefits of proposed solutions.
• Identify potential clients and projects within the MEP sector. Qualify leads based on project size, budget, and timeline.
• Create detailed proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and timelines. This may involve coordinating with the engineering and procurement teams.
• Negotiate terms with clients, addressing any concerns or objections, and work towards closing sales deals that align with company goals.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the internal engineering team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Oversee the progress of HVAC projects, ensuring that they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. Address any issues that arise during installation or implementation.
• Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale, including troubleshooting, system optimization, and maintenance advice.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the latest HVAC products, technologies, and industry trends. This helps in providing the best solutions to clients and staying competitive in the market.
• Keep track of competitors’ offerings and market positioning to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, consultants, and end-users.
• Attending industry events, trade shows, and seminars to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments.
• Select, motivate and monitor the performance of the staff below.
• Attend trainings and seminars to upgrade the knowledge.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education Qualifications: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
• Professional Experience:
  • Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including coordinating with different teams, managing timelines, and ensuring projects stay within budget from 7 to 10 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in HVAC sales, mechanical engineering, or a related field within the MEP division is highly valued.
• Competencies:
  • In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance. Familiarity with various types of HVAC equipment (e.g., chillers, boilers, air handling units) is crucial.
  • A solid grasp of mechanical and electrical systems within the MEP framework, as HVAC systems often integrate with these other building services.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, is often required for designing and visualizing HVAC systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during project execution and to provide innovative solutions that meet client needs.
  • Understanding of local building codes, energy regulations, and environmental standards relevant to HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of market trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings to stay competitive and offer the best solutions to clients.
  • Precision in design and sales proposals, with an eye for detail to ensure nothing is overlooked.
