The Role
Position Title: Chief Accountant - QSR Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 18K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai, UAE About the Client: An iconic international fast-food brand Job Description: • Consolidate and update financial data for assigned SBUs; analyze trial balances, investigate unusual entries, prepare and validate variance reports, and submit monthly updates to the Financial Reporting Manager while collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Prepare and review statutory financial schedules and disclosures; coordinate with auditors during interim/year-end audits, address audit queries, and resolve management letter points. • Review and reconcile GL accounts, ensure compliance with accounting standards, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and propose adjustments or clean-up activities. • Summarize key transactions, validate insights for the Finance Head, and drive enhancements in reporting accuracy, detail, and process efficiency.

Requirements

• Open to Arabic and Asian nationalities, 38 years old and below • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field and preferably with CPA, ACCA, CMA certification • At least 5 years of experience in the similar role from QSR/F&B/FMCG industry • Must have advanced knowledge of accounting principles and processes, statutory requirements and compliance, core business and financial concepts, internal controls and operational governance, financial/accounting systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), financial account management and reporting practices
