In this Finance Intern position

• Engage with Customers under direct/close supervision for shipment information and incident/complaint management.
• Check that correct costs and revenues are captured against customer’s profile and inform about cost/revenue issues.
• Perform administrative shipment level activities under direct/close supervision including receipt of customer booking, documentation requirements, and all related local and international transport.
• Manage shipments under guidance in line with the customer service commitment.
• Identify, gather and inform about exceptions/operational irregularities.
• Understand, follow and support to improve shipment data quality.
• Follow necessary regulatory compliance procedures relating to commodity and locations for shipments.
• Route and/or assign shipments under supervision to relevant consol as guided, ensuring it meets our customers service commitment and maximized our profits.
• Prepare invoices, and necessary back-up documentation ensuring customer invoice timeliness and accuracy.
• Use available tools to monitor and highlight issues with performance.
• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team.
• Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.
• Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others.
