The role holder is responsible for the installation, configuration, documentation, upgradation, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancement, studying and designing of systems infrastructure (equipment, management tools and security controls).
Responsibilities
Manages to carry out our cross-functional activities and supports all Microsoft and VMWare – including technologies such as VCF, VSAN, HCX, VRA, VRO, NSX, Azure, office 365. servers and systems components that drive the business needs.
Maintains essential IT operations – Server Operating Systems, AD, Exchange, SCCM, Software Patching (Clients and Servers), Endpoint Protection, Reporting, etc.
Performs server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, File and print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
Provides day-to-day operational support including responding to incidents, service requests, and tasks by following the best practices of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) protocols.
Manages the implementation of approved maintenance programs, performance analysis, change management, capacity planning, redundancy, backup, and disaster recovery procedures for servers and infrastructure applications
Collaborates with managers, IT team members, internal personnel, and vendors to efficiently execute all technical projects
Determines systems performance by monitoring the infrastructure, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, troubleshooting problems/outages, and suggesting improvements
Monitors Data centre health using pre-existing management tools and responds to hardware issues as they arise.
Collaborates and interacts with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed
Manages installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining replication and backup systems, including storage appliances.
Manages and prioritizes multiple assigned tasks to meet established deadlines
Liaises with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and new implementations including POCs for different solutions.
Cloud Configuration change, create blueprints, and manage service catalogue.
Manage and support various operating systems, maintain, and build scripts to manage the cloud infrastructure and server instances.
Participating in the implementation configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized procedures relating to the use of the cloud environment within the enterprise
Experience in Linux or similar OS is desirable
Provides support other teams for performance/ availability issues
Accountabilities

Educational Qualification:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science/IT or relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field
Desired:
Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field or relevant field
Specialist Certifications:
Required:
TOGAF Certification
Desired:
Recognized certifications such as Project Management Program certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco, etc.
Experience:
Required:
2-4 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role
Desired:
Experience in a large healthcare facility.
Additional Requirements:
Required:
Proficiency in English language
MS Office and computer proficiency
Desired:
Proficiency in the Arabic Language
