Your role
As growing organization, you will contribute to all procurement activities, key focus on purchasing and new Supplier’s introduction, monitoring and managing their performance. The role will be reporting to Head of Procurement.
Specific responsibilities to your role:
Execute purchase strategic areas under close guidance from Sourcing manager/Head of
Procurement.
Adapt request proposals based on needs in close collaboration with material / production management and supplier.
Preparation of RFI/RFP and knowledge to review Statement of Work.
Comply with approved supplier list (ASL) for any sourcing activities.
Research for suppliers that meet Saab criteria
Purchase order review and escalation on non-compliance
Suggestions on cost saving activities, by maintaining efficiency and compliance
Conducting cost analysis
Negotiating on suppliers’ clauses
Forecasting, risk, and impact analysis for area of responsibility
Performing suppliers’ sustainability and background checks for preferred suppliers list
Develop and measure supplier performance
Drafting and providing NDAs as necessary
Provide documentation for approval of new suppliers according to the Decision Record template
Resolve issues related to the sourcing processes, escalate as necessary
Knowledge of developing and writing process and procedure
Building relations with internal and external interfaces.
Collaborate with cross functional groups including Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering
Willing to work in growing team and ready to carry out hand-on job
Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience with Supply Chain Management and Procurement practices and processes. Experience negotiating terms, conditions, and non-disclosure agreements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
To succeed in your role, you should be a person with a large commercial and technical interest and a high capability of building trust in external as well as internal relations.
Develop Procurement scorecards, dashboards, reporting & analytics.
Develop and maintain procurement processes, procedures, tools and templates, and help deliver technical solutions.
Understanding of ISO 9001
A positive, proactive “can do” attitude.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across the organization.
You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word.
Arabic language is a plus
Driver’s license
