Job Summary
Responsible for the execution and governance of procurement activities in the market area for all categories
What you will do
Business partner at market level
Manage a team buyers
Manage Capital Equipment project procurement activities to project completion
Manage tactical purchasing activities in the market for indirect categories
Define project sourcing strategy, supplier base and procurement plan
Drive agile tactical and project procurement process in compliance with Tetra Pak policies and procedures
Stakeholder management – work closely with local management and Capital Equipment project management
Work closely with global/regional category managers and participate in the development of category strategies and qualified supplier base
Manage supplier contract negotiations and finalization. Ensure continuous follow up of supplier performance and contract compliance
Drive cost savings, quality assessment and risk management of external suppliers
We believe you have
University degree preferably in Engineering or Business subjects: BA or above
Track record of formal or informal leadership experience
Experience in a procurement organization of a global company for 5+ years
Solid experience in category management, sourcing & contracting for 5 years or more
Proven track records of successful negotiation and cost reduction activities in multiple categories
Strong drive for results, capacity to take ownership and ability to make quick decisions based on analytical assessments
Comfortable to discuss technical topics with Engineering and to learn on the fly
Effective in utilizing relational and communication skills, with ability to influence cross-functionally at all levels in the organization
Good level of collaboration, engagement and leadership skills
Comfortable working in uncertain and diverse environments
Fluent in English, additional language is a plus
