Duties & Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them, for Al Tamimi & Company in Saudi Arabia, with offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar, in line with the firm’s business growth priorities.
Develop an actionable business plan including business development opportunities and marketing plan on an annual basis.
Communicating with partners, directors and other departments to ensure that all parties are aware of current projects and future plans.
Responsibility for the successful execution of said plans with clear KPIs and other measures for success.
Researching the latest trends in the industry to determine how they may affect current business practices in KSA.
Analyse and understand market demand, industry trends and client needs.
Increase brand awareness across the Kingdom through consistent marketing activity.
Developing marketing materials, such as brochures, capability statements that promote the firm’s services.
Meeting with potential clients and establishing relationships with them to develop business opportunities.
Working with the firm’s design team to create visual materials that promote the firm’s services.
Develop and grow your network and build trusted relationships with clients and prospects.
Generate, validate, pursue and close new business leads.
Effectively manage accounts, including identifying business growth opportunities, planning and executing the overall client growth strategy, developing client relations, monitoring and analysing financial performance.
Participate in proposals along the entire lifecycle of an opportunity in collaboration with the appropriate stakeholders: identify opportunities, assess with the right internal and external stakeholders, orchestrate response, develop content, ensure compliance, prepare and participate in pitch presentations, negotiate deal closure.
Effectively manage the directory submission process for all KSA related directory submissions (Legal 500, Chambers, IFLR1000, etc.) and improve YoY rankings to achieve band 1 across all disciplines.
Efficiently manage the team (3 FTEs) in KSA.
Support the firm-wide Sector and Key Client Programs.
Collaborate with the wider Business Development and Marketing team.
Use of CRM systems to exchange and valuate insights.
Be an ambassador for the firm and its values.
Requirements & Personal Attributes
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and preferably a master’s degree in business administration or marketing, marketing strategy, business management, economics, finance, statistics, or accounting.
Proven track record in business development, marketing, sales and client management.
Commercial, results-driven mind-set.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent spoken and written English skills. Arabic language skills are beneficial but not a must.
Analytical and project management skills with attention to detail.
Problem solver with ability to think end-to-end, be proactive, creative and a quick learner.
Effective influencing skills.
Team player as well as independent thinker.
Proven management skills of effectively managing a team of no less than two people.
Flexibility in working hours and travelling.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role.
High level of proficiency in all basic MS suite products, e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
Experience in law firms or professional services firms an advantage but not a necessity.
