KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee Service Centre daily activities and develop existing structure and process
- Evaluation and feedback on Special demands coming from internal and external customers
- Manage and resolve daily operational issues and escalate to SC Manager as and when required
- Actively conduct monthly operational meetings with the Business Areas and with dealer network
- Report any operational risks to SC Manager
- To secure reporting deadlines
- Actively managing relevant Kpi’s
- Conduct structured departmental meetings
- Preparing Import/Export documentation
- To ensure timeous placement of orders - meeting Central Warehouse deadlines
- Follow delivery issues i.e. Nil Picks, Discrepancies, Transport delays etc.)
- Follow dealer discrepancies (Processing, Lead times, credit notes and outstanding discrepancies)
- Coordinate special demands (Unnumbered routines, Chassis unique items)
- Chasing VOR Procurers/Helpdesks for VOR’s, managing back orders with CW
- Manual order entries.
- Answering dealer enquiries (Telephone, e-mail ,etc)
- Follow-up on enquiries directed to other departments.
- Interactive follow-up with Warehouse related activities.
- Interactive follow-up with procurement regarding inbound orders and ETA’s
- Manage Customer relations.
- Evaluating dealer survey results and feed back on responses received.
- Distribute individual ETA reports.
- Actively involve in the digitalization and automation of SC processes/activities
- Follow-up and liaising with up external freight forwarder /transporter
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BA/BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field, required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant logistics, Service Center and/or supply chain experience. Preferably in the automotive, truck industries.
NECESSARY TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL/LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowing other regional languages is an added advantage
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge on customs regulation in the Middle East region
Work with a collaborative and lean mindset with continuous improvement approach
Well-versed with Microsoft office tools ( Eg : Excel, Power point, word and other Office 365 tools )
Good presentation skills
