Currently, we have hotels operating across Australia, Middle East, UK, Singapore, India, Indonesia and Vietnam, with Hotels soon to open in Thailand, Egypt, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
We are recruiting for a Regional Director based in Dubai to look after our Middle East portfolio. You will be responsible to oversee all StayWell Group properties in the region. The key accountabilities include:
- Ensuring new properties are opened in a smooth manner and to the satisfaction of business partners, owners, and directors and comply with all local laws, regulations and all Brand Standards are implemented
- Maintain a strong, professional and cordial relationship with all hotel owners
- Planning strategies to exceed budgeted revenue and improve cost targets for the Middle East regional office and the hotels in the region
- Negotiating and put in place sub-leases for restaurant and spa areas as required
- Participating in local and area sales and marketing activities
- Presenting updates to owner's representatives as requested
- In conjunction with Head Office teams, developing and implementing pre-opening plans and business plans for all Middle East hotels;
- Proceeding according to the critical path and keeping the documentation up to date;
- Holding and chairing meetings with directors, builders, developers, owners representatives, and the pre-opening teams
- Work closely with all head office executives and team members to deliver and executives' plans and strategies for the ME region
- Assist the Development team to secure new hotel signings including attending presentations and meeting with potential new owners
If you possess the following attributes you may be the person we are looking for:
- Hotel operational experience in the Middle East with particular focus on Dubai and Saudi;
- Multi-unit experience;
- Pre-opening hotel experience;
- Experience in various brand positioning from 5-star to 3-star;
- Experience with international hotel management companies
