Job Description

This role will work in conjunction with the Talent Development & Engagement (TD&E) Manager and colleagues to deliver impactful learning and engagement initiatives aligned to business needs. Your responsibility will also include:

    Interact regularly with all Farah colleagues (including park walks and special events), with specific focus on allocated stakeholder groups
    Work closely with the HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand specific department/Park requirements
    Align learning and engagement initiatives across Farah to business needs
    Deliver the full learning cycle, including needs analysis, design and delivery of blending learning solutions and evaluation
    Design online learning solutions using a variety of tools such as Articulate & VYond; launch these learning modules on platforms such as Yammer, Loop, LMS & Teams
    Deliver engagement activities throughout the year, aligned with the Experiences’ operational calendars, including the monthly WOW recognition program
    Support the business with everyday engagement activities such as recognition, length of service and birthdays, through templates, systems and consulting advice
    Deliver essential communication updates to the business through Yammer, Smile Alerts, digital signage, posters and 1/4ly forums
    Support broader HR initiatives by working closely with the rest of the HR team
    Research new and innovative learning and engagement tools and ideas, and share with the team
    Support Farah’s Emiratization programme, as required
    Support the business with internships, cross-training and multi-skilling
    Assist with document control, training data and reporting as required

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

    Diploma or Degree in any field
    3 years minimum in Learning and Development with a breadth of experience across design and delivery
    Excellent written and spoken English
    Good MS Office skills; Word, Powerpoint, Excel
    Able to design learning materials (including guides, handouts, presentations and storyboards for online learning)
    Relationship building and a team-player
    Events’ organiser
    Project & Stakeholder Management
    Communication for official announcements
    Flexible approach and adaptable style (to suit different audiences)

Desirable

    Train the Trainer Certification
    Certificate in facilitation or coaching
    Demonstrable experience within the Hospitality, Retail or Theme Park industries
    Demonstrable experience in running engagement activities
    Experience with Learning Management Systems
    Working knowledge of online learning platforms
    Working knowledge of movie making; editing
    Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
